a lot of history with him. it is not uncommon for us to 3bet each other. he is an excellent playa and is capable of a lot. this is similar to GM's post today, but a bit different considering our history.

lol at not raising flop and calling a shove

Well since I know the outcome on this one (I was at the table losing money obv) it's hard to remain unbiased but I'll do my best.

I don't know too much about the history you 2 have together however it's hard to imagine that you are too far behind on this flop. I think you both played the hand fine and this was pretty much unavoidable...

Double-stacks makes this hand trickier, I think. Easy raise-call with standard sized stacks of course.

I would 4bet/6bet pre. For real.

CDL did you include the /6bet part because you think he's weak if he bothers reraising you from position? at first your statement seems blatantly absurd, but i like it now that i think about it. i'm just wondering what happens when you DON'T flop this great OOP. open shove anyways, continue what you're representing?

LOL. It's because CDL and pattay have a monster history. They've 6-bet like QT suited and A6 off and sh*t.

nah, I think the lightest we got it in was like A9s vs. JJ or something for 150 BB. But, yea metagame is the answer here. Also, we talk a lot and he 3bets me more than he 3bets other people with my stats.

pretty much my thoughts. I wouldnt "draw" to an ace or a Queen. Hump the pot full of money, perhaps get it all in, who knows =).
