i did fold. but show this hand to 2 other 2p2rs (who are obvi not in this thread) and they suggested committing the turn.

his line makes no sense, but at the same time, committing into a 300bb pot (that was initially limped) seems silly given that turn card.

Fold: it's a small pot. Committing makes no sense given your moderate hand strength.

You're behind any 4 and any pair Ts or higher, and the unlikely boats/quads. Triple the pot bet usually means what it looks like: strength. If he's making a donkish bluff or overvaluing his hand, let him: donks lose the big ones and win the small ones. You're supposed to lose the small ones and win the big ones. Risk/reward ratio of committing would be way off.
