Pre Flop: (pot: $1.50) Hero has Q Q

Flop: ($27.36, 3 players) 9 4 2
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $13.68, BTN calls $13.68, fold

Turn: ($54.72, 2 players) K
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: ($54.72, 2 players) Q
Hero bets $41.04, BTN raises to $88.92, Hero ?

Villain has $19.25 behind. He's pretty fishy at 44/5, and has AF of only 0.8 (granted, small sample size of 63 hands). He's folded twice to 3bets.

Is flop cbet standard/fine vs two villains? Should I play it different since BTN cold-called my 3bet?

Should I be barreling turn or is that too thin? I decided to check to give villain a chance to bluff since I think a bet may fold out a lot of underpairs like JJ or TT.

When villain min-click backs river, I think he has a set (I doubt he shows up with JT or AK here). The cold call preflop makes me think he has KK more than 99, but a jam here vs a fish is mandatory right? I need 31% equity for a shove to be profitable here, which I have if he has two combos of worse sets here.

Definitely barreling turn for value

As played call. Would not discount jt

You think villain doesn't have enough worse sets to warrant a shove?

It's probably negligible calling or raising here. But yeah he probably calls it off

Ever get that Déjà vu feeling?

Betting turn isn't thin at all, but it may not be the best play.

How do you always manage to narrow down 40%+ VPIP whales to wafer-thin ranges that beat you? You don't need to calculate that you need x% equity for a shove to be profitable because he has K9s, Q9s, AA, AKs, AKo, bluffs (with some SDV), lower sets, 42s, K2s, Q2s, Q4s, KQs, KQo, which will all call a shove.

It's a very straight-forward shove. You're always ahead apart from the rare occasion that induces a new thread.

I kinda like flatting pre vs a UTG1 open, ur hand plays better vs his entire opening range, and also u hate being 4 bet by an UTG1 open with QQ, so unless u have history i'd flat pre, as played just get it in, don't try to dodge coolers, take ur coolers like a man

I would check the turn too to keep Villain's range wide. And check river if the Q didn't come but yeah definitely calling off.

You actually have a pretty good point, +1 range is up there.
