Don't know why i was limping in pre, shouldn't have been, but as played whats the plan on the flop. Are we ahead enough to commit on this board?

Villain is 20/2/3.5 over 200 hands

CO ($290)
Button ($124.30)
SB ($115.55)
BB ($128.75)
UTG ($98.50)
Hero ($107.95)

Preflop: Hero is MP with , .
1 fold, Hero calls $1, 1 fold, Button calls $1, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($4) , , (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $5, Button calls $5, SB raises to $25, BB folds, [color=#CC3333]Hero ??

Look for a better spot, are you really looking to get it all in on a limped pot with bottom two? I feel all you are really ahead of is a semibluff and that still has outs.

fold

I think villain's range here is something like 99-QQ, 9Ts/89s, and J9, obv. 77 and 88 are really unlikely given that you have one of each. Any reads on the button? I think folding is best here, but you're folding the best hand a good amount of time here.

In a limped pot I think you are behind his range, even if you have the best hand at this point if he has any kind of strong draw you aren't that big of a favourite and obviously to a set or higher two pair you are crushed.

Good responses, thanks

Yeah, I know you pointed this out and maybe misclick, brainfart, whatever, but it's worth stressing how incredibly terrible this limp really is. OOP, 4 players left to act, offsuit, low cards. The only thing you can really be ecstatic about is a straight.

It's a snap fold as played, but don't overbet unless you always bet 125% (greater if you count rake) pot in these situations.

Yep, dont know what i was thinking pre, it was an old hand. Good point about the flop bet, gives away my hand

If we had top two we'd be folding it too?
