villian was 13/11 over 300ish hands, about half 1/2, half .5/1 don't remember any history

why didn't you 3 barrel? he almost never has 2p/sets and he rarely has TJs, so do you really think he has that many 7x type hands? he should only show up with 3 combos each of 67s/87s and 6 combos of 77, but of those hands, the only one that almost always calls the flop (as opposed to sometimes raise or fold) is 87s.

getting raised is gross but so is checking as you can see.

were you just waiting to plug that youtube clip or is there an underlying message?

"Why didn't you three-barrel?" "Let them taste the triple guns." Seems pretty clear cut to me.

I'm firing this turn all day long and most rivers too. Yes villain can have a straight....but Rush villains have zero respect for cbets meaning they have a ton of weak/crap/nothing/floaty hands that will simply give up to a turn bet and almost certainly give up to a river bet.

Played fine so far although I'd bet turn. You have 13 outs to what is basically the nuts. Plus a K or Q may be an out. Your pot odds are basically exactly the same as the odds you'll hit, so folding is absolutely awful here.

bet turn + try to use the same size on flop as you would with TT or JT aka > 12 for balance. unless u were making it a little smaller to induce and shove over than no problema.
05-13-2010 , 06:25 PM
def bet the turn

bet bet bet.

i would make turn bet on the small side because he like never has a hand when he just calls smaller turn..... obv shove river

double and give up imo.

i'm not used to people agreeing with me. i get insecure and start worrying about concealed sarcasm.

yeah i can get behind that, I call

river is the J

pot is $97, stack is $206

c/r, or bet
05-14-2010 , 12:21 AM
bet, dont want any checking behind.
05-14-2010 , 01:38 AM
I think this is one of those spots where an overbet is ok, or at least a pot sized bet. If you shove all in and villian has a J, I really doubt he can get away from it. If he doesn't have a J, he may not call a decent sized river bet.
05-14-2010 , 02:17 PM
i would go with fake block bet but i also like CR. I really ont like the overbet here

Turn is really a dicey spot because you have too good of a hand to get raised off of it and I think most times when he's proceeding he's most likely raising.

Make it $52, there are no Qs in his range and he can't really have total air... also rush guys are passive as **** postflop when they dont have the nuts, you might as well expect me to score a threesome with the olsen twins than this guy to bet river with a naked 7.
05-15-2010 , 09:38 PM
would you believe he not only bet a 7, but called a c/shove with it?

guess I have a interesting image, or he just can't fold anything
