People are funny, and can definitely change the experience. Played Bandon last year and our first day at Pacific had a great group of younger guys who were there to drink beer and have fun. Second day at Bandon Trails we played with this guy who was probably a 15 handicap, and he took everything SO seriously. Whenever there was ANY sound as he was standing over a shot, he'd back off it. We were teeing off on a par 3 and a maintenance card drove by quite a ways away from us. He actually stopped, turned around, and GLARED in the cart's direction. Funny thing was his partner/friend was super relaxed and jovial. He had to know his friend was an *******.
