It's been 3 months since I last played and actually posted in here due to working 6 days a week at a job where you stand all the time.

With an interesting story. I have broken 100 once and that was flukey. The last two holes i needed to Par-Birdie a par 4 and 5 to get 99. On the par 4, my 3rd shot (which was just short of the pond in front of the green) landed 3 feet off the green. So naturally with my 4th shot I chip it in the hole for par off of the green.

On the par 5 18th, my 4th shot (I needed to hole out) was ~110 yards away with a tree right there. Pull my pitching wedge out, hit the ball over the tree and hit the flagstick!...and then it bounces 20 yards off the green .

I had some great iron shots and short game shots yesterday for being away for 3 months. It was my putting and off the tee that killed me. Hope to play monday as well.

Horrible front 9, decent back 9 this morning. 53 + 48 for 102.

Off and on with the driver, figured something out with my grip on hole 15 and finished strong with the irons. Averaged 2 putts per hole, since I 3-putted one and 1-putted another.

Shot 72, 78 on par 72 today.

My GIR from 100 meter and birdie percentage must be worse than from 160 metres. My short game was horrendous today.

81 which was actually 37 stableford points in my team match today. +5 after 15 and finished double-bogey-bogey. 3-putted the 18th to halve the match. Pissed off but luckily I'm not playing until tomorrow at 8.20 am Hit the ball well but my putting failed miserably on the last three holes

Don't worry, signing for a higher score is perfectly legit.

Why the hell do I spend so much time trying to get better at a game I will obviously always suck at, and which repeatedly makes me hate myself?

48 + 49 for 97 at a tough course. Way too many putts, not enough fairways, but my ball striking with my irons, hybrids, and wedges were bang on. Felt very good today.

Take off about 5 putts, hit some fairways, and I'm good.

putting was horrific, missed at least 4 short putts and didnt make anything beyond 7 feet or so

driving could be a lot better but was in play with a shot at the green in regulation every time

78 - 42 36. A warm up may have helped.

Had a 71 thru 14 holes, checked the scorecard shot a 98.

45-43 = 98 on a course I shot a 92 on last week which should've been an 88 lol.

Decent back 9...started Bog/Bog/Bog/Par/Par which for me isn't bad. Then blew up the last 4 holes of the day. My driver is terrible and my 3 hybrid was awful.

1 3-putt on each nine. Lots of 2 putts, not many 1 putts.

I think its time to get lessons since I'm never going to be able to break 90 consistently at this point.

blading pitch/chip shots when that's usually the best part of my game, very bad

i did make an all world up and down from a buried lie in a bunker, so i got that going for me

39 on a par 35. one double, 2 bogies 6 pars. things are coming together

Just realized I am 14 over in my last 27 holes. Best stretch in nearly 20 years.

41 (par 37). Eh.

32 on a par 35. No 5's on the scorecard. 1 bogie, 2 birdies, 1 eagle. Stuck both birdies to withing 2 feet and my eagle to 6 feet. Very satisfied with how I played.
