I use game golf, but it is a stats thing not a swing analyzer. Pretty useful to really know how far you hit irons for a large sample size.

Are you happy with game golf? Can you share it with a partner and keep two sets of data?

I am happy with it, really helps for iron distances. I don't think there is any way to share it but I have the old one not game golf live so I don't know if that is different since it is paired to your phone on the course. I come home and plug it into my computer and upload it that way.

Just bought the Great Big Bertha and love it more than any driver ive ever hit. Was between that and the new ping ls. Just couldnt stand the way the ping looked really. Has anyone here played the ping g crossover hybrid? I need a new hybrid/utility club and that one looks intresting.

I'm curious about the crossover as well. I need to find a demo day (or a store that has it in lefty) to try it out.

I was so lost without my range finder today, amazing how fast I became dependent on the thing.
I hit some decent shots but today was mostly a struggle, didn't focus at all and just felt lost

39-39 = 78
29 putts
6/14 FIR
7/18 GIR
2 doubles 2 birdies

I did hit a beautiful 2 hop stop on a dime wedge from 35 yards, somehow stopped 1 inch before the cup, thought it was going in for sure. I just love those shots when done well.

Just purchased an R15 10.5* regular driver off eBay. Been swinging with an original RBZ driver so decided it was time for an upgrade

Overall so far I'm liking them a lot.
If you have a another set of irons, consider using them on the range for most of your long practice sessions. I've worn through two sets of AP2's in seven years (even though I used my worn-out first set on the range, most of the time, after purchasing my second set, my second set still needed to be replaced this spring). The forged face seems to wear quickly. I certainly advise against using them to practice fairway bunker shots.

got one of these today:

Almost got the version with slope reading on it, but in the end I didn't think it was worth another $100 for it to tell me I was uphill or downhill from my target. I figure I can tell that on my own.

The ones with slope reading are not legal for golf use, so unless you're just going to use it for casual rounds, it's better to get one without slope reading.

I don't play anything but casual rounds...no tournaments...so I went back and upgraded to the one with slope reading.

Yeah I imagine you are never going to go, man I wish I didn't buy one with slope.

signed up for a subscription clothing service called short par 4. Seemed pretty cool and for $25 figured why not give it a shot. Anybody ever use this? Heres a referral code which will save you $20 on your first go if you want to give ita shot

Irons arrived. W - 6, TM M2 Tours. KBS tour 105 s, upright 1. Relative to most game improvers, these heads are compact. Still, larger than my AP2's and will take time getting used to. Ball flies further and higher than the AP2's. They are lighter and take less effort to swing.

Also picked up a new wedge. TV SM6, 58.08. It replaces a 58.04 which i've worn out after only 15 months. Way too many range sessions with these soft faces. Especially with the recent emphasis on short game work. I'll use the worn 58, and an old 50 for range work this summer. Try and only use the new wedges during rounds.

The bag; Ping Anser2, Vokey 58, and 52, M2 W - 6, Ping G30 6 - 4H, Ping G30 5, 3, D

I personally love mine. fly long high and forgiving as advertising. Perfect for a recreational golfer like myself just trying to enjoy the game

I wouldn't mind the M2 if the damn thing wasn't offset as hell, it really is awful dead left club. It sounds like **** but I could have gotten over that.

agree about the M2's and way offset, but the M2 Tour's aren't. they are nearly as square as the AP2's.

so far, hell of a lot of fun to hit. I'll be in town June 30 - July 11. test drive them for a round. they seem fairly indestructible.

I was wondering about that, I had signed up for a chance to test a club so TM sent me a free 6 iron M2 the same week the M2 tour came out. Will give the tours a test when I get around to it. The M2 does go stupid far but I just couldn't get it to fade and was a crapshoot to whether it went straight or left. Probably an amazing club if your swing works with the offset. Would have preferred a heavier shaft as well but that isn't a big deal as I am sure they have plenty of choice on free upgrades.

I have been looking into arccos a little lately and I like it a lot better than game golf since you can have live data linked to your phone on the course. No downloading later and live GPS on course. I would never want to dink around on the computer after my round. Would be nice just to look at the phone quick and see the stats.

Seems like

Pro's: Don't need a belt (I don't wear them), no tapping the belt gadget, more accurate, on course gps (distances to anything you want), live stats on phone, correct any mistakes on the fly, no downloading at home.

Con's: Replacing the watch batteries will get old, more expensive, drains phone battery.

Seems like a no-brainer to pick over game golf, just not sure I wanna drop $250 on it.
