A big golf fan would know it's
Wyndham Clark and would have no issue picking him out of a lineup. I'd love to see how many of the 48 LIV players this week you could pick out of a lineup, I would certainly fail on quite a few.

I think regular events should be shot gun start. Majors stay the same.
Let's do some ciphering on this. 156 players so 78 in each wave, 26 threesomes in each wave. 8 holes will have two groups to start on it. Those starting on holes 1,2,9,10,11,18 can easily walk to their position, that leaves 12 holes where you have to have motorized transportation to get them in place. So transportation for roughly 17 groups. A group has a bare minimum of 8 people, 3 players, 3 caddies, 1 scorer, 1 standard bearer. 17 times 8 is 136 people.
So you have to have an awful lot of volunteers to transport 136 people onto the golf course at the same time. Then transport them off. Then repeat this process with a second wave. Good luck with that.
But then consider how long it takes to get people into position. For a SG start at 8am, let's figure 10 minutes actual transport time. You always want to arrive 10 minutes before tee time. And now let's assume you're in the second group off a particular hole. That's a minimum of 30 minutes since you've hit your last warmup shot, more than enough time to stiffen up.
However let's not forget range space. How many ranges do you know of that can accommodate 78 golfers simultaneously? I've been on a PGA Tour range after a weather delay and it's a **** show with everybody fighting for space and nobody happy.
I could go on but let's just say SG starts on tour aren't going to happen. SG starts are great for corporate shindigs or drunkfest scrambles, but not on the top golf tour in the world.
