I don’t believe for a second that LIV would start a ladies tour with equal purses, but if they did most all LPGA players would jump ship.

Yup. They'd be foolish not to as the money would be vastly more than they make on the LPGA Tour. And that's with purses increasing substantially of late.

Next event is at Trump Bedminster. I'd expect much bigger protests there from the 9/11 families, given it's in the NY Metro area. I'd also expect Trump to make an appearance. Should be a circus with more meaningless golf.

All in all, more publicity for Liv which helps them I suppose.

They broke the rules of their tour by playing in a non-sanctioned event without getting a release. Knowingly did so. Knowing the consequences. Knowing that's how they made their tens of millions of dollars. They are fine with breaking the tour rules but still want to play. And now the crybabies are going to get their way at least this week.

As my Dad once told a member at our club, "Golf is a game of honor played by gentlemen. You sir, should go play tennis."

The douchebags that want it both ways need to play tennis instead of golf. I hear that Sergio is actually a pretty good tennis player.

The court hasn’t ruled on anything. They issued a stay

Players join the tour and have to abide by Tour guidelines and regulations. They are part of an association and they are free to play wherever they like. Just may not be able to play on the Tour if they breach the rules they agreed to at the start
