Sorry for the thread, I've used the the forum search and google for half an hour and still can't find what I'm looking for. I remember reading a thread in here some time ago about a book that describes the different levels of professional golfer. I'm vaguely remembering some context surrounding people talking about the best guy at a club/scratch golfer vs a pga tour pro.

two books that somewhat qualify are coyne and newport. titles might be paper tiger and thin green line. anyway, tom coyne and jp newport. i think newport book goes in detail into minitours. another possible is tales from qschool but i'm thinking newport is it.
