Do all golf courses give golf privileges to their employees at least some of the time? Or only some golf courses, and only to certain employees?

Yeah - varies by course from what I've seen/heard

I would guess that most lefties are better at doing things righty then vice a versa because sometimes you have to try to do something righty.

Without knowing anything else about you, other than that you took the bet, I expect you to get crushed. Also figure, your buddy might actually practice a bit going into the bet.
It is for fun, but I am super competitive and he talks a lot of trash so I want to shut him up. He plays all the time, but I doubt he will hit the range anytime soon.

yea, I have done this a fair amount on the range or just for fun before when I have jokingly told friends I could have hit a better shot than them with that club. I also plan to hit some balls with the right handed clubs on the range before we play.

Heh, no, I was serious. I am going up to Kohler in a couple of weeks and I have been playing two of the courses (Straits and River) we are playing while there.

I'm not sure it's actually going to be useful at all, but I'm having fun doing it.

I wish I played enough rounds where I could waste one playing lefty.

Did out my handicap today, I am down to a 21. Not sure if that is good or not as I have a match coming up vs a 12 handicap. Was hoping to get more than 9 strokes.

You went from a 26 to a 21 in a couple weeks? How are you calculating this?

Using Diablo golf, it must have had my handicap from last year because I didn't upgrade. Upgraded today and it calculated my rounds from this year. I didn't realize it wasn't auto calculating.

Played a round today at the local executive par 3 course:

brag - I made a par on the last hole today to leave on a high note. And I also birdied a hole earlier in the round. Was able to play thru a group on the 10th hole that was just teeing off on 14 when I finished w/no one in front of them. How can people play that slow???

Beat - I used my 5-wood on a tee shot. I took a small divot and the shaft snapped about one inch from the head. WTF? Dumped it into the trash can afterwards. The club was a pass off from a friend so no $$$ invested fortunately. Looks like I'm headed (back, see variance below)) to Golf Galaxy soon to find a replacement.

Variance - The strap on my golf bag broke during my last round (I walk when I play if possible) so I stopped at Golf Galaxy on my way to the course and got a new strap for $19.99. what is up with all of this stuff breaking all of a sudden?

you can just put a new shaft in that broken 5 wood club head, don't know why you'd toss it unless it was an old piece that wouldn't make sense $$ wise to fix

pretty much this. I hit this particular club OK but I have no idea how I'd fair with a new shaft; it just may not feel the same. The club cost me $0 to begin with so I figure I'll just start anew and buy a used one from Golf Galaxy.

I imagine every fratboi douche who yells at a golf tournament also listens to Nickelback music.

So none of you yell anything while out with a close buddy ever? I give my boy a MASHED POTATOS or GET IN THE HOLE at least once a round just because.

Its quite fun, really.

I love when I'm lining up to putt and the group on the tee box behind me yells "MASHED POTATOES!" Makes it so fun.

Im obviously not doing it when the course is packed. If I know were free for a hole and no groups around... Why not?

I think Ive heard someone yell once while I was playing and it turned out it was because someone stuck it to like 3 ft on a par 3 a few holes over. Naturally their group dropped a collective GET IN THE HOLE... AWWWWWW
