If anyone wants to try a good golf app, get iSwing for the iphone. Not sure if there is one for Android.

It'a timed golf-specific camera that gives you 12-13 seconds to get in front and film yourself, then beeps to countdown so you know to swing. It'll record in 30FPS I think, and you can play back in real time or 80% or 20%, and you can also draw circles, angles, lines, etc on your image to see where you go off plane, target line, spine tilt, etc. You can even flip it and see yourself playing from the other side (left/right handed).

You can also download pro's videos, and compare yourself side to side with them. I've only found Adam Scott's swing so far but I guess there are others coming - I thought the person who showed me had Tiger on his.

Anyway, the app is $3 I think, and then the pro's swings are $3.99. Those are a bit expensive, but it's still a great app. Also nice since you don't need a second person to take the video.

hey thanks for the insight. disappointed it doesn't seem to exist for ipad. different name? or some other reason it doesn't come up? noticed iphone has alot more apps than ipad. ipad does have alot

Try the V1 golf app, you can slow down the video, frame by frame, draw lines, circles, angles, etc.

Anything like this for Android?
