I haven't updated in a year and a half in this thread. Down 2 from my last posting. I did get as low as a 0.9 in late June 2022. Shot up to a 4 by end of 2022 and remained steady ever since.

been grinding and working on my game

i'm working on getting the club more in my fingers w my LH (i'm a RH golfer)... to get a more proper grip basically. it's a work in progress

i switched to side-saddle putting for putts ~20' and in. this has helped me sink more 3' - 5' putts, plus if i miss from 14'+ my speed is usually very very good and i'll be within 2' very often. this explains a good amount of my improved handicap

i watched this video for the first time yday and incorprated it today to really good effect (although i did scull one OOB but the other six were totally crisp and solid... including one from ~25 yards to 2')

8.8 to 10.7 since I last updated not good. Not sure if I posted it but at the back end of last season I think I got down to 7.7 so gone up 3 shots by then. Think I'll be a 11/12 if I don't sort it out soon.

Makes sense overall, marginally lowered my handicap and most of my stats marginally improved. It's a grind but been moving in the right direction for 3-4 years now. >1 birdie per round makes me quite happy, and my bogey+ avoidance has improved too.

*Got 20 rounds in this year and plugged them into a free app. 18.4 is what it spit out. I’ll get a legit USGA one this year. Original goal when I started playing again in August was bogey golf by end of 2025. New goal is sub 10 by end of 2025. I will then challenge StinkyPete to a match.
