Did you play Gold though? I think their maintenance budget for Gold is higher than for the other two, which are shorter and not the "signature" course.

Mountain Shadows GOAT executive course. There's nothing else like it. Talked to a cart girl over at McCormick recently who also works at MS and she said the group is small-ish lately, in the 25-30 range. One of these days I'll show up and donate, knowing that's all it will be.
EEZEE, thanks for the heads-up. Just found out this morning we're playing at Stonecreek next weekend. Hopefully by then the greens will be faster and carts will be allowed off the paths. That course is totally condition-dependent, it's not a great layout (imo) and not long, but when in good shape it's worth the money. We're evidently getting a $59 rate which on a Saturday morning in the fall is pretty good.
Also, I recommended to a poster here The Raven, he was out here last year for a few months and he signed up. They have a member program (as I'm sure I've also mentioned several times itt) along with good practice facilities. Can't remember where you're living - Scottsdale, I think - but it's fairly close to everything. Should be worth a call.
