Sorry if this is a dumb question. When booking a resident rate for a Las Vegas golf course on golfnow, will they allow a non-resident to play with a resident for the advertised rate, or will there be two separate rates?

My suggestion to you is book both as residents and just check in yourself at the pro shop while your buddy heads to the range. As a non resident I have just popped into a course by myself and with a buddy and if its slow they never even ask

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll book it that way, and if they ask if he's a resident, I'll just cross that bridge when or if it happens.

Mesquite Wolf Creek one of the nicest courses I have played Will be your favorite of Vegas

My suggestion Dump Alliante and Palm Valley and substitute Badlands for sure and either Rhodes Ranch or Tuscany keeping in mind your budget and GN or a Revere Course or Pauite from GN are great choices
Thanks for your help, To go along with my mesquite trip I ended up booking Rhodes Ranch $56, Paiute Snow $51, I also signed up for a tourney at LVN (first one ever)

That wed is and open day and was wondering Silverstone, Tuscany or Angel Park (i heard good things), Other?

Two more great courses also eat in the clubhouse of the Paiute food is very good

Of the three choices Tuscany for sure. One of my favorites and not that difficult. Nice finishing hole. Angel Park last choice. Try and get badlands youll enjoy that

Any must plays?
I've played a handful of courses over the years.
Primm worth the drive? Or typical Fazio layout?

I Think Badlands is a must but for me there are so many musts. If I had to pick one course in the Vegas area it would be Wolf Creek

yea i've seen a few of them around town. they do it up real official like, you'll feel like you're in a legit tournament, even if only 10 people register or w/e

Badlands is meh, Brown Keeper try to get on Cascata, its a drive but well worth it. Other direction Pauite Wolf is solid. If you can use a club connection I like Dragon Ridge a lot (private), also Rio Secco.

Thanks for the tips.
I'll talk to someone at my club about Dragon Ridge when I'm there later today.
I have had the pleasure of Cascata, but maybe I'll play it again though.

I booked my time for Las Vegas National at 3:10 on this Thursday. Cant beat $39 on Golf Now.

If anyone is in the area and wants to play...It'd be great to have some company, I will be a single, although from everything I've read, Im sure to be paired up with an old timer who will regal me with stories from the Rat Pack era. I hope this is true...I eat that **** up.

My buddies and I want to drive up from Phoenix sometime this Summer, maybe late Spring for a golfing trip (and obviously a little gambool). We would like to stay off the strip, but probably near it. Any ideas or recommendations on where to stay and where to golf? We know we are gonna golf at TPC. But we will probably golf a couple more times. Thanks for any advice

if you know you're gonna play TPC las vegas, stay in summerlin. the suncoast and the rampart are perfect. if you stay there, you'll save a ton on cab rides. TPC las vegas is 5 minutes away and badlands and angel park are literally across the street.

then, you've got another 5-6 courses to choose from all within 15 minutes. paiute is about 20-25 minutes down the highway.
