I think we can say with certainty that the Chevron field > this Bay Hill field, correct?

**** just realized The Masters is like 75 players with 20 of those 60 years or older

Tiger probably like -150 right now, field is +130

You really think Palmer may of payed the top 6 to not come so Tiger would have an easier win?? You have to be joking at that being a possibility.

By the way... How about when those top 6 are in the field...and they play against those same players that Tiger just played against...how often do those 6 win by 5 against those opponents??? Maybe one or two of them would of played well and been in contention, but Tiger won by 5 and is certainly a favorite to still win with that score if you throw those guys in right now with same conditions.

Can you not just look at how the guy is playing and for the most part BEEN playing to make your judgements? It doesn't matter who the **** is in the field, you play against the course and yourself. You may play differently towards then end of a tournament based on lead sizes etc., but throwing those guys in the field does nothing to how Tiger swings the club. Do you think he fears those guys or something?

I know u r and also the Chevron, Tavistock, talk etc..

It was regarding Kyles statement which I read as fairly serious, but mainly for the others and ppl that really think like that, which there are a few on here. I fully expect Leo to legitely use that as an argument. He has already called the tournament an lpga event and doesn't understand "the who is in the field" argument is even weaker than it normally is when a guy hits the ball that well and also wins by 5.

Leo's a troll, put him on ignore and your forum experience will be a lot better.

Oh trolls, those are some weak sauce arguments there. It's hard to face reality, I know.

Master's is going to be great too. Your troll skills are going to be tested to the limit if he wins that one. The good thing is you have nearly 2 weeks to come up with excuses.

No one is scared of Tiger anymore. I would hate to be in the group ahead of him or his group as so many fans show a lack of respect for the other golfers.

I also was surprised some top players were not there. Maybe the course does not set up well for their game.

Tiger won beat a decent field on a course he knows so well. He still had to hit the shots and make the putts. I do not like much about him but when he wins Ill pay him the credit he deserves.

Most of them will destroy Mike Weir. Some of the entrants will just not be a factor

Sooo....yeah. That was fun.

The relief on his face coming up 18 was something we've never seen from Tiger before. Just pure joy.

Wouldn't at all be surprised to see him go on to have a huge year, like a handful of wins plus a couple of majors. Swing locked in + short game being cleaner + monkey off back could be a dangerous combination for the Tour.

Im trying to find odds on him finishing the year as the World No1. Can't seem to find it tho, he is 3/1 to be the PGA Tour money leader in 2012.

Isn't there some prop bet on here about Tiger winning a major or finishing at a certain position in the OGWR in 2012?

He still scares most of the players, and even scares the best players, but not as much. There are a very few, like Rory, who are the exception. Let's not pretend he has dropped down to the level of an "average" PGA tour winner.

Granted I wasn't able to watch the weekend action, but I know on Friday he had some issues with it. Though to be fair it was probably just an issue this week considering I think we've seen him hit a number of quality fades these past few months.

He is not an average tour player based on past performance. Though he is like most tour players in the last few years with only one victory. Lets face it Tiger will even say its all about the Majors.

Even at Tiger's worst in 2010-11 he was better than the average PGA player.

Posting here so this will be appreciated. Just looking over Tiger's major record and if you remove the swing change periods(2nd part of 97- first part of 99, 2003-2004, last of 2010-2011) and take into account some of his injury time his record is ridiculous. Take out 98/99 up until PGA, take out 03/04, and he was 14 of 38 from 97 masters to 08 us open
