GOAT yipper. Jack could never pull off rounds like this with the yips.

easy, it was one round, perhaps he found a way around the problem. We'll see.

Haha. I guess this begs the question, is this the greatest short game performance of all time by someone with the yips?
The yips narrative was always overblown. I think Haney is too smart to believe the stuff he's selling right now, he just knows his relationship with Tiger is already shot so he's cashing in on that Tiger reputation as much as possible. He says controversial/negative stuff about Tiger, the talking heads repeat it, and his name stays out there.

I think all Chamblee ever does is lick his finger, stick it in the air, gauge the wind of popular opinion and then hammer the populist narrative in as dramatic of a way as possible.

lol. you have to be pretty goat when people can build a career off trolling you.

of course the yips will only show up when the weight of the pressure in playing at illustrious pheonix open is too much to bare. when its a second rate tourney like the masters, you can get up and down from anywhere no prob.

i wish i can find away around my golf problems like tiger.lol

Brandel and Hank should host a special Player Haters Ball dedicated to Tiger.

Frustrating for sure as he could be going really low right now. Ball striking is perfection thus far

I guess first round was due to the movers being late in getting his furniture to the rental.

His proximity to the hole number so far this round must be absurd.

Considering "the critics" a few months ago were saying Tiger was done and might never compete again because he'd lost to the yip-monster, I feel that's a valid comment and one he doesn't have to win the Masters to validate.

What's mind boggling and sloppy is that was also on tape delay and yet they left the audio on.

Tiger has been working with sub par instructors since leaving Butch. I don't know a lot about Como, except that he is a biomechanics guy and is at least strongly influenced by Homer Kelly/Golfing Machine/O'Grady, and that stuff is just "The Truth". It is scary how great of a ball striker Tiger can become if he gets this stuff.

NxtWrldChamp mocked me when I presumed to know what he is working on. Of course I have no clue to specifics, but having worked with certain guys, I know which positions he was missing and what he was probably working on. All it takes is video. On good swings his first move down, and the on planeness (sic) of his through swing look absolutely phenomenal. The bad swings are just that, when he reverts. but they seem fewer and farther between. The downswing drills and the work you do has a tendency to play havoc with in game short game shots, but that seems solved.

As much as I have not liked him as a persona, I think there is a very good chance he has a Hogan like finish to his career. Excelling on tight, demanding, golf courses, and becoming the premier shot maker in a world full of bomb and gougers.

Wrote this only because I want to go on record before it happens.

Who would've thought that Rory and Tiger would be paired together in the final round of the Masters. The same week Tiger was ''yipping'' and shooting in the 80's, Rory was like -38 in Dubai.

Yup, 2D video is all you need from an off center camera on TV.

You know so little about golf you don't even know what you don't know.

I think Tiger's mindset is all or nothing at this point. Missing those first few putts today and knowing he is out of it, he probably won't be as laser focused as he would be if he were in contention. Probably just human nature.
