So they actually didnt include one of Clutch Carl's, clutch shots?
Blasphemy...I imagine that is why Carl kept saying that Kent had a little bit of Carl in him, or kept pulling a Carl.
That tilted me...you hit 3 really good clutch shots, that became clutch because you hit your ball 40 yards left or right off the tee and had no other options because your opponent hit the fairway and then hit the green.
Actually Clutch Carl hit at least two shots not shown - through the trees, and one to kick-in birdie range from the fairway.
It's not a huge deal, but it's odd they were too lazy to throw together some thirty second montage of the playoff holes up to that point, especially with some of the things that happened, for example Kent needing a putt to push with birdie. Here they had a chance to show actual good golf and they opted not to.

Considering how badly this show has been cast, it's pretty easy to believe it could be edited that poorly.
Also, funny stuff about you being on a team with Anthony. I just remember him coming across as very cocky and drawing the ire of my childhood rival (and eventual winner) BK, who is himself a notorious smartass but generally likable once you get past all the posturing. I also remember that Anthony seemed to be one of the strongest contestants but got bounced early by virtue of some fluke elimination. Then again that particular season was stacked so who knows how deep he would have gone, but hard to believe he wouldn't be 1 or 1A on this season.
I had never seen BB Mesquite before and am part way through Ep 4 right now. It is amazing the difference in golfing ability from that season to this one.
I know I am late on the draw but Carl getting a free drop from the bunker plugged shot was complete crap. What was worse was that the show didn't even explain why he got the drop. Sorry for being late on this just got caught up with all the shows on DVR. Ya I am pretty sure I could crush most of these guys with the exception of Kent and I am a 2 handicap.
^^
I finished BB Mesquite.
have never see Indian Wells or any other (no Golf Channel in Poland), but my first impression was- how guys that bad were able to win events on different tours...

All I know is A God was alive long before the Bog Break. He has a ton of game but the chip on his shoulder is bigger. Hiroshi was the best player on mesquite, and possibly ever on Big Break....aside from 2 gloves and Matt Every and kontak and Anthony.
I know Josh almost definitely would have lost anyway, but what the hell was the deal with all the conceding of 5ft putts? If I was in that spot, I would have let Brian know before the match even started that I would not be conceding any putts all match and that I hope he does the same.
Starting USA vs Europe season now. Never knew Gainey had such a bad looking swing...wow.
Spoiler:
Not only is his swing ugly but he plays terribly on the first 2 episodes, until the elimination challenge at the end of ep 2. I'm guessing from here on out he starts rolling.
