Your argument it factual incorrect, purposely obtuse, and simple a not very interesting troll.

It's a sports discussion forum. Arguing about whether a team or player is underrated or overrated, or whether they will continue to stay on top or falter - is what sports fans do. It's all just bs'ing, just entertainment. It doesn't really mean anything. Everyone's ok with it, except for some reason when it comes to the golden boy.

Can we please keep future predictions out of this and only talk about facts and numbers? Thank you.

Amazing how time flies. I Remember when Charles Howell III was one the next young guns. It never really happened but FFS, he is 36 years old now......

I thought he was in his late 20s.....

Feel like we need adjusted numbers re: inflation for all time money lists if sticks is 21st

Doesn't really matter. The point I was making is that CH3 has held onto his card (obv no easy task for a professional golfer) consistently and earned money consistently throughout his career. Is he a superstar? No. Is he one of the best of his generation? Well, if money in the bank is the criteria, then yes.

Yeah pretty amazing CH hasn't won more given his consistency. He's a cut-making machine.

Looks like an amateur kid named McCoy is having some kind of round today. -6 through 12 and 3 under for the tournament.

A graham delaet 67 today is optimal for entertainment purposes tomorrow

He had 2 wins and 0 top 10 finishes in a major, He was a journeyman who made cuts and made money. Don't think by any measure he in discussion of best of his generation... he played steady in a period where money was huge.

I don't think Greg Norman is in top 100 $$ earned, so inflation and larger purses has to be considered...

A lot of pine straw lies this week. Is there anything harder to hit off than pine straw? Anyone got any tips other than trying to hit it perfectly clean?

I see a later poster beat me to it, but he might be worth more than $30MM if not higher without a ton of accomplishment

A local vancouver guy on pgatour with maybe only one all-time top 10 finish is probably ahead of 98% of per-1975 players... His 1 top 10 was a WIN but the idea is amazing

Of course he might not be on TV long if form holds.... Wonder if his swing breaks down under pressure or mental... I think dj and/or Greg norman have/had swing consistency problems under pressure. Tons of whip inthose swings.

Delaet reminds me of another Canadian prairies player. Guy was lead by 4 or 5 strokes Saturday night. I can't get to TV till back 9 Sunday. My player was midway down 2nd page of leaderboard

Hoping for him big time, but he's probably the biggest choker on tour

i agree 1000% but that could change.....

i check canadian scores (more hadwin and taylor) religiously....

it's funny that the canadian media hasn't seem to have picked up on delaet's horrible record when in contention.

brad fritsch from ottawa has some major issues with consistency in contention too.

hearn is pretty solid in contention from what i've seen (other than a close putt or two at deere). he's not perfect of course (canadian open) but he seems pretty good.

I don't recall him ever being in contention too much. But he seems so to be healthy and elite at ball striking again and sucks at putting as usual. He's the best long iron player in the field with a chance IMO. Haas is pretty awful statistically at what will hold up R4. Have 12k riding on the Canadian. Would be nice if he comes through
