Every hole favors certain types of players. This is just another variable in that equation.
But it is not a random variable. If you have a dogleg right it does not favour lefties or righties. It favours a fading righty and a drawing lefty, but that is the nature of golf. Nobody can claim that hole shape hurts lefties over righties or vice-versa, as ever golfer either prefers to fade or draw their shots.
It is harder for a pro to hit a ball above his feet than below his feet, so incorporating a slope does in fact does penalize lefties or righties (depending on which way it slopes). As such, it is not a random variable, but a planned and known advantage to one or the other (lefty or righty).
