So I am a US player, but due to the games I play I am looking to travel more to play on bigger sites. I have done some research and I will post my plan for the upcoming months below.
July13th-March 20th
I'll b here in the USA working hopefully my last job ever. I have a BR to play and a life roll and I can support myself now. But with the added expense of living and Focusing more on HU NL I just prefer to be over rolled so I'll throw in some bs work at a local gas station for $9 an hour for a couple months.
March 20th-June
In Canada grinding online and streaming and working to improve the stream and my poker game.
June-July
Vegas for the WSOP
August-October 31st
Back in Canda
November-March back here in the states for the holidays
So that's my plan for next year. each step is assuming I dont go broke in the previous step and i feel like its a good choice at the time to do what was planned.
My questions follow
1. I am planning to drive to Canada, I am going to rent a Uhaul van and take minimal stuff with me. couple bags of clothes, dog, computer tv. and thats really about it. I plan to buy a cheap bed n stuff once I get there. The question is what might I need to make this happen? Obv passport and my dog has to be up to date on shots and i have to be able to prove it. but is there anything else that might not b so obvious?
2. I need to rent a house with a fenced in yard for my dog. I was hoping for a small city or decent suburb. How hard will this be to do, renting for 6 months, and where do you all suggest for areas to stay?
3. Poker accounts, I have never played poker outside of the US, so what are some important things I might need to look into for setting up new poker accounts on stars 888 winnamax and other sites?
4. Areas and things to avoid in Canada?
5. I am sure I will think of more but these r the top 4 biggest questions I have so far. THANKS!!
