hey, im 27 play 200nl on stars and would like to find 1 or 2 roommates for the winter. i currently live in crested butte but am ready to try a different town (could possibly stay tho). im thinking about Tahoe Utah or possibly somewhere in Canada.

my two biggest passions are snowboarding and poker. so it would be nice to live w/someone with similar interests. im laid back, smoke, like to go out 1-2 nights a week. ideally id like to move somewhere that also has some night life in addition to skiing (what cb lacks).my lease is up at the end of sept and i would like to find people who want to rent from oct through april if not longer.tahoe is currently at the top of my list but would consider moving anywhere given the right situation.

id like to find a nice place w/in walking distance to a lift and spend between 600 and 1k a month (per person obv).

i got 100+ days in last winter and wants more this winter. season pass prices are going up fast so i would like to figure as quickly as possible.

I'm not a potential roomate, but I did live in Tahoe for several years and I think it has a good mix of what you are looking for with the added bonus of the casinos in south shore and reno. Alpine and Squaw are killer to ride, Heavenly in South Shore has a great rep but its not my favorate.
When you say $600-$1000/mo you mean for a room right? I highly doubt you will get a house or condo for that cheap slopeside in any of the places you mentioned, but could do it pretty easily if you mean 600-1000 for your share of rent in tahoe.

Alpine (and Tahoe) in general has pretty decent backcountry stuff too. There are some pretty sweet bowls easily accessed by hiking from the Alpine lifts, along with Mt. Talac, Mt. Rose and the Donner Lake run which is accessed by hiking out of Sugar Bowl.

I had a 2 bedroom condo about 200 yards from the Stagecoach lift at Heavenly for a little under a $1K a month. Tahoe is great. LDO.

I would seriously consider this but I wouldn't be able to move until sometime in dec. I currently live in N.Ca and have wanted to move up that way. pm me and we can maybe talk out some details.
