Hi,
I'm heading out on a road trip next week with the wife from Vegas up though Jackpot (Nevada) to Boise for a night or two. Then over to Yellowstone, Jackson Hole and Park City, and then back. So basically a big loop up the middle of Nevada, over through yellowstone and down through Colorodo and Utah.
We are doing this pretty open-ended (no reservations yet) and have anywhere from 7-13 days so I was looking for any specific suggestions of what to do or where to go on this trip. We do want to white water raft and do some "outdoorsy" stuff but we are far from hard core about it.
Just throwing this out there in the hopes anybody had done some cool things in these areas. Anything specific in Boise?
Thanks for any help!

basically hit the national parks. thats where the outside things are to do and the best scenery. yellowstone will be the highlight and you can spend weeks there and not see half of it. so budget your most time there and grand teton park.

I know you are from Montana Ray Zee but I disagree that Yellowstone would be a highlight. I actually think its really overrated and would rather focus the time elsewhere.
I would recommend spending more time in the Tetons or if you don't mind the extra drive going up to my favorite place, Glacier Park (good whitewater rafting there also)
