let the pre-occupation with gambling go. it won't improve your life.

i'm just here to help you. you have no obligation to accept my helpful advice.

i havent played poker in a year, i had a freeroll to play on a fishy site and turned it down, i have zero interest in playing

basically what i am saying is you are a dumbass and can't see the irony in you telling someone else to try and be more productive with their time as you 2000 posts on here that were the nut low when it comes to being productive

Just because someone isnt living by the advice they are giving, doesnt make it poor advice or that it should be completely discredited.

Well of course, but almost everyone is, when people offer advice its usually 'Do as I say not as I do'

Check out cash kings on YouTube. A little boring the way it is just sort of a raw stream but I just watched like 10min of it and the guys are playing for stacks preflop A4 vs A9.
100-100 British pound blinds.

It's like watching the commerce 40 no limit for real stakes.

And good job having the courage and guts to survive over there as long as you have . Now if you could just settle down with a good pinay ...

remember when trolol said would never stay in the hotels by the airport in KL, he just knew it wouldnt happen

well there is some area with a handful of hotels, maybe 10 min-ish drive from the airport.... no need for taxi they offer a airport pickup for 5 ringgit (if booking online its a bit more so only order the pickup online not the drop off, pay for that at the hotel)

pick you up in a van

pretty much nothing in the little strip mall type area other than the handful of hotels, a few restaurants, and also a pilot/aviation university

a gym with no aircon

a laundromat or two

a bunch of cats

asked about best investments awhile back, this seems to be like the best option around right now right?

https://www.banking.barclaysus.com/dream-account.html

if i read this correctly if you deposit 1k for 6 months and dont touch it you will get 6%, then if you continue to deposit 1k a month (baller) you will keep getting the 6%, buf it all you do is dont touch it you still get 3.5%

am i missing anything?

barclays is a pretty big name and fdic insured....

Looks like it's a bonus on the interest earned, not the account balance.

ya i was a little tricked by that part

so you are saying if there is say 10k in the account after the 1k a month and you get the 5% bonus instead of getting $50 you would just get 5% of 1%, or 5% of $10 as the bonus? so 50 cents?

(i understand the whole 10k wouldnt be in throughout the year and all that, just simplifying things)

give up the dreams of day trading or investing the small amount you have. better to focus your energy on something that will generate you income through a job.

You said you were gonna die by 30, right k2d?

If so just say **** it once you pass 30 and blow through your savings in the third world before ending it all.

never said i was gonna die by 30, said i dont really care about making to 60

but when you have money sitting in a bank account doing nothing for over a year and are making more than you are spending its kind of pointless to not have it making something for you

nitty, non emotional, disciplined and patient seem to be the best traits for long term investing, they also are pretty much my greatest strengths

just dont really have any idea what i am doing at the moment and could use some sort of advice, not in the 'put your money here' regard but in the 'stocks 101' type
