Thanks
depends on the time of year. I really don't know the number either, but its prob around 40 fulltime could be a lot more. But I could probably name 40 people that are chatting on skype and hanging out. And I know there are a lot more that I don't know about that are here that never hang out and aren't active in the chat

Thanks Mrdurden. Does there seem to be a certain group of players down there? (i.e. MTT, PLO, SNG, NL Cash) I'm really interested in meeting other NL mid-high stakes cash game players.

Does anybody know about secure parking for vehicles? I really want to bring my SUV down but want to make sure it is as secure as possible? Do any of the condos offer garage parking?

Thanks guys.

Both this unit and the building itself are super sick, 500 for a room is a steal.

nearly every place has secure parking with guards at the gates. Havent heard a single story of anyone gettng their cars ****ed with. Would be more worried about my car getting stolen from SD and brought here than it being stolen here.

Most players play MTTs ainec. I don't know everyone obv, but this is easily the largest group.

The rest is probably pretty even between hypers/sngs of all sorts/cash/hu players

Which Rosarito bank has the smallest opening account deposit requirement?

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada right now, but I am thinking about giving Rosarito a try on a very tight budget for a few months before completely making the switch. What is the bare minimum I would need to deposit in a Rosarito bank to get things started? And are there fees or bank account closure if you fall below a certain amount? For example, can I open a Rosarito bank account as low as $2,000 (or lower) and then move $1,000 to Pokerstars without there being a problem of only having $1,000 in back account?

Any ideas or suggestions on getting started with an extremely tight budget are appreciated.

I have a bank account with Santander. when i moved down i did not deposit anything, but got the proper documents i needed to reactivate my stars by just opening account and telling them i would deposit. Which i got with a bill NOT in my name and a passport. I traded cash for stars with another player and did not actually deposit any money into Santander until i needed to withdraw, which took a few weeks. At which point i deposited 100$usd into the bank acct and this was enough to get my debit card. So you could probably deposit 100$ and keep cash on hand because cash is useful down n rosa. I do believe that there are fees in someway but im not sure of the specifics. just that they were telling me when i was done to be sure i closed acct so it didnt rack up fees. One of the managers there speaks perfect english though and he could explain all the specifics. Also this is a peso acct. Which requires a lot less to open. But i do seem to get hit for fees when i withdraw to moneybookers then get it to pesos in santander. I feel like i loose 2-5% or so.

Is there a tax thread for Mexican players? If not, can someone point me in the direction of a good tax thread/PM what you do about taxes? This is new for me. Trying to be as well informed as possible.

If everyone wouldn't mind posting where they stay, how many bedrooms, and how much you pay, I'd greatly appreciate it!
