As you may or may not hear from the bull**** I'm selling you, I quit by reading Allen Carr's book. And I think it's really good Never had the urge to smoke again. I also used to smoke 1 pack a day of the 8mg ones. Those were really good as well. Lol
ive been smoking for about 7 years, about a pack a day. ive quite smoking with chantix but the side effects were just too much for me. Now im on a really good e-cig called "volcano vape". Try it

That is incorrect. Old Chinese belief is that a girl who shaves is a hooker, hence the lack of grooming. 'A good girl never shaves'

Thankfully this custom is slowly dying off...

Does anybody know what it costs to assemble a desktop computer in China, compared to EU?

Basically all I need is a case, hdd, mobo, processor and gfx card

Is it cheaper in China than online?

If you want foreign parts then its going to be more expensive.

if your fine with chinese parts (which should work for the case at least) then it will be cheaper here.

I don't find smoking cigarettes pleasant enough to be addicted. I don't hate it, but it isn't something I enjoy doing. Most of my smoking is done in bars where smoking isn't too much more hazardous than choosing not to. I max out at 2 cigarettes/week.

Two cigarettes a week is probably the equivalent of not going outside for a half hour depending on the city.

If it is something you don't enjoy doing but yet you are still doing it it sounds to me like you are addicted.

Not that I know you or anything, just thought that what you said didn't compute.

Hey all,

I'm currently backpacking through Asia and am in China right now. The 30th I will fly from Hong Kong to Nepal and I would like to visit Macau for a day or two before I get to Hong Kong.
Now I've serched but it seems that there are no hostels in Macau (anymore). Does anyone know one or an alternative? I've already signed up for couchsurfing, so maybe I'll find something there if I can't find a hostel.
Also I would like to play some poker, but as I'm on a budget, no high stakes for me. What is a good place for low stakes poker? Are there tables equivelant to US dollars $0,50/$1 or something?

On taobao.com (Chinese eBay) you will find all the parts you need at good price also.

If u assemble it urself by buying the parts from the computer markets, and u do have a pretty good knowledge of the parts to avoid being cheated, then imo 2000-3000rmb could do it.

Rly no hostels in macau that i know of, but i guess u can try to find some kind of room sharing. there's alot of ppl who go there to play poker only and live in the residence areas. or perhaps u can get a hostel in hongkong and ferry urself across everyday.
In macau the smallest games are like 10/25 HKD which is a little bit bigger than $1/$2 USD.

A lot of people recommend staying in the massage places for a cheap place to sleep. I havent tried so have no idea. They offer 15 30 in starworld and 10 25 in venetian but most tables are 25 50

i need to get a tourist visa to visit china. there is an embassy about an hour from where i live. is it worth doing it myself or should i just get an agent? any recommendations of companies you guys have used?

would it be easier to get the visa in my home country (us), or wait till i am in south korea?

it's really easy, check out https://www.visaforchina.org/ , dowload the form or fill it in online and go to the embassy, if something is wrong they will tell you anyway

I guess it depends on location and timing cause the last couple of times I went I had to wait like 5 minutes maximum

In HK I had to wait 3 hours once lol

HK usually goes pretty quickly for me. I've been there 5 times I think, rarely there for over an hour.

LA was an all day process.

in HK earlier=better imo, or standing in line during the lunch break works well too
