Anyway my normal training ground for weightlifting, yipoon din daeng, is closed for new years, so where can I do my training for a week, I need sqaut rack and bench for bench pressing, preferably I want to be able to do snatches and cleans also, without getting thrown out of the place for being too loud... aka I am going do drop a louded bar on the ground from 2 m height. Squat rack and bench is the minimum other would just be bonus and nice.

I would prefer it to be as close to soi Ekkamai as posible but if you know any place, plz mention it.

urgghh. So im telling my folks back at home my plans for Bangkok and am met with the following responces;

people only ever go to bangkok for a week or two at most and travel around instead

you dont want to stay at the same place for 1 month...

Hmmm. I dunno. Bangkok qualifies my two main critereas; 1) cheap accomodation 2) cheap flight from australia connecting to UK- which is why im going along with the recomendations from you guys. Aside from that I like Thai food, walking around, discovering new culture/ new city, interesting nightlife. My guess is that staying in an apartment tied down for 1 month is fine as I still get to see diferent parts thanks to the BTS and different day trips available. And surely you lot disqualify the claim that people only go for a few days! The plan is also now to stay in Khao Son road just for a few days whlst I search for apartment so I know I;ll be satisfied with apartment.

You are getting the wrong impression that I'm somehow insisting that hanging with the Thai elite is something I'm interest in, or suggesting other people should be interested in.

The primary point of my post, which WhoIAm picked up on and further explained, is the blurred line between what a "normal girl" and a "hooker" is.

I do not use credit cards just going to take money,about $10k should I pre exchange it to baht in my country or do it in thailand?Or can you str8 up pay with dollars?

Will it be enough to stay there for at least like a month or so living life and not worrying too much about cashing out?

Are there any apartments that you can rent only for like a 1 or 2 months or you have to rely on hotels if your comming for short period of time?

The vast majority of girls that a Westerner will meet when he's out partying in the popular hot spots are typically more than willing to exchange their companionship for cash money.

Sure 10k is way enough u can stay for 6 months and still live quite good if u want! It depends on where and how u want 2 stay where 2 eat how much u drink etc. If u dont go shopping its almost impossible 2 spend 10k/m here

U can get apartments on a monthly basis but theyre usually lower class, if u want some kind of luxury apartment with furniture etc u usually have 2 rent for 6m-1y maybe u can rent short time if ure willing 2 pay some xtra money.

If u come without a visa u need a 2 way ticket, u can stay only 1 month without visa. If u have a visa of some sort 1 way is enough.

zasterguava, you will get a 30days visa on arrival then you can extend that visa with 7days at an immigration office, that will cost 2K b(check thaiembassy webpage). Overstaying will cost 500/day and you will get a bad rep at the border/imi.office when you have stamps in your passport that you disobeyed the kingdoms rules.. Not recommended.

I think you are both right. There are many... MANY "bad girls" here NO one can deny that. But its still possible to quite easily hook a good normal 10/10 that works at a department store in the day just by looking decent and be charming.
