Hey All, with Fridays even's I'll be moving to Canada at least for the summer time. I was wondering if anyone was interested in being a roomate. I am not looking for anything too expensive just a place to lay low and play some pokerz.

I am a 23 year old male, I drink socially and smoke weed often. I don't care where in canada just somewher

Just curious, what are you planning to tell them at the border / how are you going to convince them that you don't mean to stay permanently illegally?

I've read about people having trouble / being turned away at the border if they can't prove that they have a good reason to return to the US (ie a family, school, owning property, etc).

Everyone in my entire family is from the USA, and I'll be going back to school in the fall more than likely

lol it's pretty clear the dude messed up. Bring your passport with you and tell them you are just there visiting on vacation. As an American citizen the law is you can visit Canada for 6 months out of the year without a visa.

yeah just have your student id and maybe your physical address and you'll be fine. this guy clearly had no proof that he was going to come back to the states.

LOLing since I started reading posts on threads , Let's all move to Canada.

What part of Canada? It's a big place.

I'm graduating from college in a couple weeks and am looking to move up to Eastern Canada (Ottawa's top of the list, then Toronto/Montreal tied for second) for many reasons; most non-poker related. Would be cool to get a place with a fellow poker junkie or two though, rather than some rando.

Were you looking East Coast or West Coast?
