Hi Guys!

In two weeks i am flying to birmingham for a week, with one day trips to London and Manchester. Do you have good advices referring to restaurants and sight seeing in Birmingham and Manchester?

Are there some special places where i can get cheap and good food?

Going to Birmingham and Manchester...

Are you doing this for a dare?

Why in God's name would you want to go to Birmingham...good grief it's a dump.

Manchester is full of Mancs.

Spend all your time in London. God's own country. Full of warm, welcoming people only too happy to have a chat with tourists on the tube...you'll love it.

On the other hand you could come and join me for a beer in Cape Town and we can talk about a real place to live/visit.

If you really must go to Birmingham at least find yourself one or two really good curry houses. They're cheap and all over the place. Any guide book will give you a list.

In Manchester there's a "gay village" which has lots of decent bars and restaurants for straights and gays.

If you want a curry in either city I can recommend Akbars

Leeds is best though

Oh and I've eaten at The Room in Manchester too when I went over for a friends birthday, that was quite nice too.
