Just incase anyone forgot, pub crawl on wednesday the 8th of may

Preferrably make it on the first pub (it's down the steps right next to the exiles beach club towards saint julians direction) but feel free to join at any stop, I'll try and be somewhat accurate at first but after 5-6 pubs I'm prolly not gonna be the best host anymore :P

Thanks Iggy, I just got an apartment here in St.Julians. I heard somewhere that you should sign some kind of agreement so that you are paying normal rates when it comes to electricity bills. Someone was charged with a 800 euro bill one month etc. How do you avoid getting scammed?

ehi guys, i'm moving to malta in september

I will be there in late august to search a house with my gf.

I'm searching for an apartment/penthouse with seaview, 1 bedroom (also 2bedrooms is ok) in Sliema or nearby.

Do you have any idea of what it can cost a long rent? I see on many sites they're around 800€, but I was wondering if can I negotiate the price if I pay in advance e how much can i save?

Hello Julius,

I think that it will be very hard to find a panthouse in Sliema for 800 € per month, it depends as well on the luck as if someone just left the flat and you come at the good moment.

Also it is possible to negociate the price sometimes, depending on the landlord though and the time of the rent, like 2 years ++.

I was wondering, is there a real poker community around there?
I mean, do you guys meet or something, are you friends maybe?

I can imagine that if someone decides to move to malta to play poker he can feel very lonely, without his friends.

The poker community in Malta is probably the biggest and best one you can imagine. I live here since one year and made a lot of friends and mates who are all poker players. There are Facebook groups for Malta grinders, the Malta chatter thread here, then there is the casino where you can get to know a lot of other poker players, etc .... if you are not a nerd and if you go out to socialize, then you will not have any problems.

And lol ... why going to Nordic on a weekday? That seriously sucks, I strongly recommend Hugos :P
