but sometimes going from cold to hot, or hot to cold can cause unforeseen problems, like with glass for example, and as i have no experience with refrigerated bread i really dont know what would happen to the molecules and the compounds if it went from cold to hot to quickly, but i will go ahead and take your word for it that you can indeed put bread straight from the refrigerator to the toaster and not have anything bad happen

You can youtube the **** it causes if you do. Always give bread a good 10-12 mins to warm up to room temperature before putting into a toaster!

football situation is that i watch every night on ASN so get to see most of the good games, and then i stream the early sunday game usually watching the first 5 minutes of the chiefs and by that time we are down by 17 so then i move on to a competitive game that i will not have aired on ASN later in the week (last week was panthers falcons)

so i pretty much have the entire league covered because ASN re-airs the sunday/monday and thursday night games that are not at a watchable hour, the only way i can really miss a good game is if it is a late afternoon sunday game that ASN isnt planning to re-air

of course that is all in theory assuming my internet works well enough to stream the early games, and right now i doubt it will as the one for the hotel next door that has usually been the best has been down last 2 days and the one for my hotel is just awful, they just changed companies and it is still as bad as before maybe worse

last night i said i was nonviolent and dont start fights, and then at 9am today im contemplating stabbing someone

there is this guy 2 doors down from me, couple nights this week when i go outside i hear his TV just blaring with doors and windows open, i cant believe tv speakers can get this loud on an 10 year old JVC tv they have here, so at 830 this morning i get woken up and then i can hear the tv, this is with 2 fans i have running to drowned out noise

i am extremely non confrontational so i just lay there hoping to fall back asleep, but im also an extremely light sleeper so its just not possible, by 915 i decide this is ridiculous, get up and go out to find where the noise is (at this point not sure if in room below or one of them next door)

considering i black out my windows to avoid light when sleeping AND i hate any sort of confrontation that should show how loud this crap was, right as i walk out i instantly know its this dude and have no problem being "that guy" and asking him to turn his tv down

so today i wrote a note and made it sound like its from the hotel saying how "we've" had multiple complaints about the noise coming from his tv late at night and in the morning and that if he wants to watch between 12am and 12pm to please lower the volume and keep his door and windows shut and put it on his door

seriously what type of person turns the tv on full blast ( its louder than you are expecting) and opens his door and window for everyone to hear at 2 am or 8 am???

he is like 40, maybe he is partially deaf (likely so) but at least be smart enough to not open the door and window

i am very sad to say i didnt get to watch that great game, the internet was so awful at the time i just watched the steelers eagles game they were showing live on ASN

even if i had perfect internet im pretty sure more of my attention would have been on atlanta and washington


one problem with ASN is that they dont show the games throughout the week in chronological order, so monday they show the sunday night game and then are showing noon sunday starts on wednesday and thursday, so you gotta be super quick with the remote to not hear an announcer say something about a game that has already happened and block out the bottom 1/8th of your tv screen (with a ritz cracker box) to not see the bottom line

i consider myself in the top 99.9 percentile of being able to not find out scores that i dont want to find out, but when multitabling i cant always get to the remote quick enough so i already know the score of a game ASN is airing later this week that i wish i could have been surprised about when i watched (just incase there are any other crazy people in this thread who arent caught up on the action and have some games DvR'd im not gonna mention the game)

Yeah I've been keeping up with the NFL and the Ravens. Ravens are a great team but usually about two times per season they lay an egg. I'm unhappy to find this is the most porous Raven's D since I started watching football.

Still, they get the job done when they need to.

i appreciate the suggestions spiv (really) but i drink a ton of water, i thought maybe that was the problem before in vegas with the dry heat, but i drink so much and i put pedialyte in my water when i workout so i am plenty hydrated (i drink 3 liters a day at the minimum)
