Her English is really good? How old? How long has she been in the business?

dont worry spud its not affecting the poker, actually i did really well in the 4 days and shipped one of the bigger payout tourneys i played in over the time, after the first night i thought it might be hard to play patient knowing what was waiting for me when i finished, but my nightly run of tourneys usually finish before midnight so there is still plenty of time left for fun after

bull, yes her english is really good, well she cant read or write, but she can speak, like with all azns u still get the moments where she cant come up with the right words or i gotta explain myself on something i said, but can definitely have long convos with

mid 20s, claims (and seems believable) that shes been in the business 2 years, from some small city where her family has a farm, got married to a cambo dude and had a kid thats 2 now, husband became alcoholic and beat her, started cheating on her to i think, so she left him and then she didnt have enough money to support the kid..... who knows she may have been in the biz since 16 but seems believable (or like theres a chance its true)

anyone know if there are poison ivy type plants out here that you dont want to touch?

just went on my 2nd beach/foresty area exploration/cobra hunt, as im walking along a group of 3 cambos come walking by, two women in there 30s and one.... well im not sure, they called her a she, but completely flat chested and had face of a dude, only 1 of them speaked good english ( could have gone with spoke english well but that sounded better) and luckily she was the cutest, the other female one just stared and smiled at me the entire time

anyways they asked why i was looking down at the ground and i said looking for snakes they said im not gonna find any cobras around here

so they showed me around some trails and its not an easy walk and the one im not sure what it was was behind me and kept grabbing my hips and waste to help my balance on some of the tougher parts, im not a homophobe and dont hate gay dudes or transwhatevers, but i dont want them touching me and it was really uncomfortable so i just got the F out of there as quick as i could

sadly they were right still havent found a cobra to play with, ive watched tons of episodes of snake shows on animal planet and natgeo with the croc hunter or brady barr or other people and am anxious to put my vast knowledge to practice

Well K2, it sounds like you may soon be dying of lethal snake bites, it was nice knowing you while you lasted

and thanks again for the help with Vegas.

And yes, I 100% promise you that questionable chick, was indeed a ladyboy, none hooker Asian chicks are not that forward, is sHE was putting her hands on your hips to help balance you, definitely had a dick down there.

thing is i dont think it was even a ladyboy, i think it was a straight up dude with pink sandals and nail polish, which is why i couldnt understand them calling him she, ladyboys are born with some sort of boobies right?

and you have no faith in my snake handling abilities, i told u ive watched many videos i got this dude

Um... dude, I understand it isn't a subject you've looked into obv, but really?? come on man...

A ladyboy is just a guy that feels like a girl, and wants to transition to one. Many that are further along in that transition have gone ahead and gotten breast implants, sure, but they were all born completely male.

So the one that you met there, would be classified as a ladyboy, but one that is in the early stages of his transition.

I was in Sihanoukville for 3 months back in 09 was a great experience. Was actually on the beach staying at a place called chivas shack for $3 a night haha.

I'm not sure if it will still be open but there is a great resturant where the Khmers eat called "mlop mi-en", not sure if that is spelt correctly but that is how it's pronounced. I used to get Tom yum gung and it was delicious. All the Tuk Tuk drivers know where it is.

Hopefully I will be back there in the next couple of months. Anyway keep updating K2d it's good to follow.
What sort of roll do you have out there?

Was there for new years eve and got to say it was my favourite new year to date, how long are you planning on staying there for?

roll is about the average locals size

staying here till i have 10k and can move back to PI

so power just went out for hour and a half, its been pretty reliable recently only 2nd time since i moved to the beach about 2 weeks ago

my place has a generator but apparently they only use it for the bar when the power goes out, and apparently that doesnt include any wifi

was 10 tabling, at 2 final tables, one of which was $33 2k guar on party which is biggest tourney i play there, end up getting 4th while playing on the wifi from the bar next door, got 4th in other tourney and 5th in hi low as well, but for whatever reason that bars internet was horrible during this time (usually very reliable at one time was using as my main internet over the wifi for my actual hotel) so i missed lots of hands

been lazy and thought i was covered as far as backup internet went with having 2 options for my hotel and the one next door that uses generator, might have cost me some here (who knows i mighta dodged a cooler or two also)

was so hot in my room with no fan or aircon i went to the hotel next door where they have a patio area down below the bar that is totally empty

mosquitos liked my laptop screen, not sure if i even got bit at all but i felt 384 different bites in the 30 minutes i was there

here 3 more weeks, cant really see the place as a long term option if the generator doesnt cover the rooms

currently at final 2 tables of $5 rebuy on stars with a pretty good stack of 250k on 3.5k-7k blinds, would be a nice one to ship

also have a decent stack in $11 rebuy on stars close to the bubble 120ish left

already been a good day, could be a great day

It's his way of saying he likes to learn a lesson the hard way. Like not getting a cheap back up despite everyone else who has been there before telling him he would need one.

naw havent covered everything poots but kinda close

in total i have put 250 on moneybookers and then had 35 on stars so started with 285

to start the day today i had 1400 on party, 200 on stars, and 50 on moneybookers, after over a lil over a weeks worth of play

im quite happy with that, but i expected some run good to start, because i mentioned before i am a huge believer in cash out curse/buy in godmode and i hadnt bought into party for 5 years or stars in over a year.... so obv need to wait a month or two before i can start to crown myself the champ of low buy in tourneys, feel like im playin awesome though steal like twice as many blinds as i used to and make moves i didnt have the balls to before buying in deep live

im above 5k though, im happy with that, its more money than i moved to vegas with, and more money than i quit my job when living in vegas, i dont start to get uncomfortable till im around 3k, and then under 2k is freak out time

biggest cash was the $11 rebuy i won for $700, had a $300 cash, yesterdays 4th in the $33 was for $210, all others have been under $200

party doesnt have any tourneys that pay out huge in my buy in range, but im just on my 4th or 5th day on stars and if you can bink some of the big field rebuys there you can turn $15-$30 into 3k+, ive done it before back when the fields were in the 5,000 range, yesterday i noticed they had about 900 peeps in them so i have the potential to do again..... if i can keep slow and steady success on party and then bink one on stars i could be back in PI before the end of the year... particularly if we really get fulltilt moneys

found a good gym with AC here (cambodia resort) signed up for 3 months for 125, coulda done 50 a month or 300 a year but i hope to be back in PI before a year, and yes dlovelee this is just a sick brag about working out incase any ladies somehow accidentally make there way to 2+2 when drunk and start randomly clicking the mouse and end up in this thread

on walk home from gym there is a wooded area next to the road, im like hell ya walkin by here almost every day im bound to run into a cobra eventually, and then i notice there are water buffalo like 100 yards away from me.... just right in the middle of the city water buffalo with huge horns chomping down on some grass and trees, only 2 of them not some huge amount

well they were brown and not black so maybe just bulls? i dunno, but ive never seen a wild water buffalo before so im just gonna call it that no matter what it really is

as mentioned in PI thread ive bit my fingernails my whole life, but instinctively stopped without thinking about it because how dirty ish is over here, so i have an itch on my tummy the other day and scratch it and cut myself open, lucky to not disembowel, so i go buy some fingernail clippers, never used before, they are trickier than a rubix cube, i think i finally get them figured out but it still doesnt seem to work right, and when it does cut a nail it just flings it randomly across the room.... gross

o ya so go to bank today to withdraw money, take out $250 and they give me two one hundred dollar bills, in this city unless you are paying rent you have no need for that big so i go to teller to ask for change, i realize that every teller there (like 8 of them) is a reasonably attractive female in the 20-30 range

so then i go to metfone to get backup internet, all 3 girls working are the same, the girl helping me says i need my passport, i dont have with but am like i have saved on my email would be ok if i open it on your comp? she says ok and hands me her laptop, the desktop pictures are of a smokin hot girl all dolled up doing classic girl faces for photos, not lookin at camera, hand gestures and what not

so i tell her i think its funny she has pictures of some girl on her desktop, shes like thats me, i just not wear makeup now, i look at her, back at the picture, back at her, back at the picture, ill be damned, i tell her how purty she is, but in the end i dont ask for number cuz im a girl o wells would have likely had to wait a year for a kiss on the cheek according to how everyone says "normal" girls are around here

will still regret for the rest of my life, or i mean until tomorrow when i go back to dolphin and bring some other chick back and forget about her

I'm thinking of heading to Phnom Penh next week and intend on doing some online grinding?
1. Where is a good hotel to stay that has reliable internet in price range of $15-$30 a night? Maybe around the the riverbank area.
2. Any good cafes/resturant/bars that have fast reliable internet?
3. What is the internet like overall there in Cambodia? Is it similiar to
Thailand or Phillipines?
4. Is the power adaptor required the same as Thailand or the Phillipines?
5. Is it good idea to obtain a prepaid mobile broadband backup? If so which company to go for and what type of speeds/ping am i likely to obtain?
Any help with this questions would be greatly appreciated..
