A) Decent amount of traffic for USD$2/5 NL $1k buy (equivalent) i.e. £1/3 £2/4 or €2/4 or €2/5

C) Where I wouldn't be completely lost knowing only English


I've searched and found a lot of great information already on the boards. The part that I was having a hard time narrowing down relates to having a decent amount of tables of higher than £1/1 £1/2 €1/2, ya know something more like USD$2/5 $1k buy-ish. Weekends only? Weekdays?

Would I have a huge language barrier in Austria?

Barcelona?

Manchester235?

Basically information as it directly relates specifically to A) B) and C) above.

I have the finances set aside to travel and I'm in the beginning stages of trip planning. I've never been outside the US, with the exception of New Zealand when I was a boy. I have very little knowledge of the world outside of the US.

You shouldn't have much of a language problem in Austria. People who don't speak English here are either old or stupid anyway. In vienna you shouldn't have to big of a problem finding good games. In the smaller citys I don't know. Rake is way lower than in France. Otherwise it'S hard for me to compare as I've never played in other countrys live.

Barcelona is a great city too! Absolutely loved it but honestly it's too hot for me to live in summer. If you come from a somewhat colder country as well you might consider off season.

vienna or barcelona are both quite nice (barca is way cooler to me, but that doesnt relate to poker really). friends of mine frequent casinos in the czech republic, heard the games in rozvadov (near german border) are lolsoft.
