btw any live cash games going on in thailand?
MB is Moneybookers, an ewallet same as neteller.
You can withdraw from Neteller to your bank, but think their fees are way higher than MB. Most sites also let you cash out via bankwires.

There is several cashgames going at various stakes at various parts of the country, i´ve been told, though never attended any of them.

I sent my first proper cashout yesturday, if I loose 30% on that Im going to be pissed, and will have to go back to paying 6% vig on the credit card.
Maybe someone who has more experience than me can give you an idea.
Wow, 30% would be crazy! But if it is going to stay $30 on $2000 it would be pretty good. Could you please tell me if that is going to stay $30? Or in PM. Thanks a lot man!

i've stated this here like gazillion times but here it is once again

when you receive international wire to your thai bank account there is a flat fee of 200-500baht ($6-$14) depending on the sum +0.25% for currency exchange so withdrawing small sums is pointless as the flat fees take a so much already. the fees are ~the same with every bank.

My normal cashout is 2000 euros and I pay under 1% compared to xe.com. Withdrawing $1k you'll pay around 1.5-2%. I withdraw from moneybookers but it should be the same with stars etc unless they use some intermediary bank that take a fees in the middle. I haven't seen anything that would suggest that though

yeah that studio complex is still there, MN place on sukhumvit 62. it's good value for the price

there are places for 5k - 6k (7k - 8k after elec/AC/water/wifi/fridge/TV etc.)
everywhere, basically any street corner

http://www.apartment-bkk.com/index_en.php is a good site cos you can search by price, and BTS/MRT

Heading out to BKK in a few months...looking for a serviced apartment...I really like the Thonglor/Sukuhmwit area....if anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Budge for a month in serviced apartment maybe 20-30k baht.

Close to BTS if possible. Thanks

I was going to post this in chatter but it seems like that thread is gone.

Last year I loaned Aaron Jefferies 700 on stars. After a while he never paid and I posted on here. I talked with him periodically over the last year and today I just got the money.

Thailand 2p2ers, I'm newly back to BKK, live near Ekkamai BTS. Interested in live games. Tried searching the thread a bit w/o much luck (new to 2p2 too). Anyone know of live games in the city? Also has anyone ever had trouble with legality issues of poker in Thailand - online or otherwise? Thanks much
