You sure it's not 2.5% because that would be more normal?

ohhh, the reason that I thought it was 25% is because my currency is worth less thai baht than before.. 25% less!

lol yeah that was pretty funny mistake but omg!
I hope this is just temporary in that case and soon the conversion goes back up to normal again and I will be rich!

And now I know why I have been saving so much money too.. I thought I should subtract 25% from my budget because of conversion but if it's not about conversion but about the value then I actually have a 25% bigger total budget than I have been planning for.

I guess I'm thick but I can't figure out how it works. Does it mean you have 30 days to travel after you buy the credits or 30 days to use all your credits after you have redeemed the 1st credit?

You have a 30 days period to use your credits after the depature of your first flight. So you have a 30day timeframe in wich you need to use your credits (or better I say your flights all need to be in that timeframe). The + version you have 60 days.

After buying the pass it will be valid for 1 year, so for the standard one you should book your first flight at latest 11 month after purchasing. For the + version you should then buy first ticket after 10 month at latest I guess .

If you look at the terms though. No taxes are included so i assume you must add

1. Tax on your base fare
2. Airport taxes

I think these will be quite significant on 3 credit flights. As usual with air asia it seems a good deal on the surface but once you add everything together you may as well take flights with a full service airline.

it sounds like you prefer American style pizza.. Dominos is the best IMO, unfortunately, a large is more like a medium and a medium is a personal pan pizza..

I'm actually pretty clever but in an unorthodox fashion.
That's how I take all the money on the tables.. I make them think they are one step ahead but in reality I'm one step ahead of you

Btw, I think I will come to BKK in april.. It really is true that all the girls are over there. But I really like phuket tho but I want to get a bigger pool of girls to hunt in.

You also can't take the same flight twice. Probably not an issue if you're a tourist but you might run into some issues if you live here, especially if you get the 20 credit/60 day one.

I am going back over to Bangkok in June for 3 or 4 months, my third trip.

This time I intend to continue my grinding (to some degree) while I am there.

The apartments I usually rent has reliable wired broadband.

That, and some mobile internet for back up.

I have read a fair few posts on the subject, and I know that gambling online or otherwise, is illegal.

I want to contact stars and ask them if I can do this, especially as I am a UK player and with the recent changes.

Before I contact them I could do with some clarification:

1. Should I even contact stars and tell them?

2. Do stars actually allow players to play poker from Thailand?

3. Are there any different rules for UK player?

I am not too concerned about depositing or withdrawing money, as I could just withdraw when I return home.

I would be using either my visa debit card, neteller or Paypal for this if I had to deposit or withdraw when in Thailand though.

1. I did because I was cautious. But I dont think you need to.
2. Yes
3. not sure, but would be surprised if there were.

Using Neteller has been working well for me withdrawing here

How easy is it to get addicted to drugs/coke if you do them once in a while (like once in a week or less when going out). I have almost only smoked weed and once did coke etc. I almost never get addicted to anything. I could even stop drinking sodas etc cold turkey because I wanted to change it so I think there's less chance for me to get addicted compared to some people but I just want to make sure that I don't get addicted to coke but would want to do some while having fun even if it's not needed..

Reddit thread about the AirAsia deal http://www.reddit.com/r/travel/comme...lowing_people/

I did a bit of looking around the AA website and the deal looks pretty bad. You can look at some selected routes and see the breakdown of what the ticket costs + what the taxes cost. Most of the routes are not worth it at all.

Example: KL -> Bali = 3 credits. Ticket (for 2 weeks out) = $40, Tax = $10. So you're getting $13.30 per credit when you paying $16 per credit (10 credits at $160)

But some routes are more expensive and would make this more worthwhile.

KL -> HCM = 1 credit. Ticket (2 weeks out) = $18 (tax is another 10).

Interesting blog post here where this guy looks at ways to make this pass worthwhile http://traveldave.co.uk/airasia-asean-pass/

I'd say though that unless you have a specific expensive flight in mind and want to catch a few other cities in the same couple weeks this deal is not worth it. You have to book 14 days out, flights can be full, and you have to use it all within 30 days.
