Regarding the visa, you'll need to contact the thai embassy or consulate in your country and see if they issue a triple entry. It's not about who gets a triple, but more about where from.

You'll have no problem staying 6-12months but you will need to get another visa (from Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia for example) after the triple (about 9 months of stay) runs out.

How much time do you need when arriving at BKK (from Norway) to make it to a domestic flight? I can't get the flights in to the same ticket so I need to clear the customs&immigration, pick up baggage and check them in to the BKK-HKT flight.

Is 90 minutes enough between the arrival & departing flight?

It's enough if there are no delays. Your flight could be late, long queues at immigration etc. that might make you miss your flight.

Assuming you are arriving shortly when it's still low season in Thailand, you could just book the domestic flight at the airport. prize difference won't be much compared to booking in advance (unless it's some promo) and this way there is no stress missing the connecting flight

I think only Thai airways and Bangkok airways fly from BKK (suvarnabhumi), others fly from Don Meuang (DMK).

Bangkok airways will have smaller but newer planes(A320), 20kg of luggage incl in the ticket

Thai airways will have older but bigger planes(they fly even 747 and A330 on this leg) and usually more legroom if that matters, 30kg of luggage.

Prices seems similar. THAI for today/tomorrow 2100baht and Bangkok airways 2190. You'll get these fares from the booths at the airport as well (usually low costs carriers charge way more for last minute deals but they don't fly from BKK)

Yeah, got a brand called 'Madonna' (Levonorgestrel 0.75mg) in a pharmacy for 30 baht. After googling it seems to be real, was a bit paranoid she ordered something random cos it was so cheap.

local noname drugs are basically free. as soon as you go global brand it gets expensive fast

Generally its best to just google the chemical name of the drug you need and ask for that. Most stuff here is generic or branded differently to back home.

Nah I didn't stock up, hoping not to need it again so gl me. Crazy girl wanted to take the pills in the bathroom without me watching.

Might be handy for some of you guys to have a pack on hand if you're as stupid as me. Was very easy/cheap to get.

Levonorgestrel seems to be fairly standard anyway, but the western dose is usually 1.5mg for whatever reason.

Has anyone in Thailand (am in pattaya) had problems with connecting to stars this weekend via ais dongle? Myself and friend have had discons ALL weekend however all other sites/browsers work absolutely fine.
