Anyway. Currency place a few blocks away from my place is selling THB for 0.0355. $1065Can. for 30k. How much can I expect to pay at the BKK airport or at a money changer in Patts? Nominal is 0.03217 atm so they're taking about 3100THB vig. That's like a good soapy no?

No 10% is what they're taking (3100TBH) over the nominal rate. I expect a 300 point spread on small currency, obviously not going to get nominal anywhere. But if it's even 1500TBH better than what I'd get at the airport I'll scoop it up since this place is only blocks from my house.

You can get a nominal rate at an ATM from a decent credit or debit card. There's no point in exchanging large amounts of cash.

i dunno man, obv you are way more experienced than me, but i still think that if the girls says she is gonna do something and then doesnt do it she should get at least a lil less than the agreed upon amount, even if it is the standard minimum
