This seems too good to be true. Can anybody who's flown with China Southern confirm I'm really allowed 50lbs for my check in AND carry on? I've never seen that much weight allowed before. I know EVA would have been better to book, but it was at least $400 more expensive.

3. For China-America route, with an adult or child ticket, first-class passengers may take three pieces of baggage free of charge and business class passengers may take two pieces of baggage free of charge, where the sum of the three sides of every piece of baggage should not exceed 158 cm (62 in.) and the weight should not exceed 32 kg (70 lb.); premium economy class and economy class passengers may take two pieces of baggage free of charge, where the sum of the three sides of every piece of baggage should not exceed 158 cm (62 in.) and the weight should not exceed 23 kg (50 lb.). China-America and China-Canada routes adopt free pieces of baggage allowance. Economy class passengers may take two pieces of baggage free of charge, where every piece of baggage should not exceed 23 kg (50 lb.) and the sum of the three sides of every piece of baggage should not exceed 158 cm (62 in.).

Also really not sure what to put on the VISA application under occupation, duration of stay and funds available for stay.

For present address and phone number what do you write when you no longer have either one?

girl comes over and meets a dude at the gym were she used to work (hes black). Anyway he asks where she gone, and she said she quit. He hands her 500 baht and said it was nice talking too you when your at the gym, then mentions hes on the 6th floor. She told him shes here to meet her BF (im not her bf but w/e). She said he didnt mention anything sexual or say to come to his room etc.

Should I sort this dude out? Apparently he had a wad of catch, so perhaps hes just being polite, idk.

think on the overseas flight its standard to allow that much weight, pretty sure i was allowed 70lbs for my flight to PI

its just the shorter cheaper flights over here where u have to pay for anything over like 25 lbs

also gonna go out on a limb and say there is no story for that pic peoples posted of the 3 girls on the bed, the pic is taken by a girl you can see in the mirror

Incredible how much they looks like girls...hot ones at that.

Also maybe my family doctor is a quack....I did my 6 month booster back in 2008 so I guess I'll get the B shot when I get there.

http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/travel-he...s/twinrix.html

Some vaccines remain effective for a lifetime, while others have to be updated after a few years. This vaccine provides immunity against hepatitis A for 10 years and hepatitis B for 5 years. A 'booster' injection can be given 5 years after the first course to provide continued immunity against both viruses. Alternatively, booster vaccines can be given separately; hepatitis B after 5 years and hepatitis A after 10 years.

http://www.allianzworldwidecare.com/?choice=en

Quoted $2236 usd by these guys for the year. Worldwide coverage except the USA and not including routine visits to GP or dental. I'm 32 yo.

I also checked BUPA and was quoted $2243 USD. I selected Canadian nationality and Thailand country of residence for the options.

I made a note of Lessu's post about 3 weeks back saying he was with BUPA for 25k baht....which is about 1/3 the quotes I'm getting.

Lessu could you give me more info on your plan, I picked the pretty basic coverage (no deductibles).

It will be a lot cheaper to get a plan that only covers Thailand, assuming you are going to be staying in Thailand.

The Kasikorn branch on the right corner before entrance to Sukhumvit Soi 15, bangkok, lets you open one without a work permit

Some 2+2ers posted that and I also managed to get one yesterday there. You go up to second floor, all you need is passport, 1700 baht (1300 into your account to keep, 400 fee for the ATM card) and a 'permanent address' to tell them

If you want a Canadian bank I asked at TD bank and the guy told me I pay only the exchange. Maybe I'll double check that to be sure.
