Yah I know. We're well traveled and have spent a ton of time in Latin America, so have pretty good street smarts. I can't imagine what ILIA would say about some of those countries.

I'm traveling with my gf, who has a Mexican passport, and we're looking for a cheaper COL area that would let us stay at least 3 months without needing to get a longer term visa. She can stay 3 months in Europe, the Balkans, eastern Europe, Georgia (1 year), even Japan/Korea (Japan 6 months), but Thailand is only 15 days (only 30 for me), and most places in SEA are 30 days or less for her. We might have considered hopping around countries if we could do 3 months at a time, but it's not worth it for 15-30 days.

You'd think Thailand was one of the most well off countries in the world and not one with the 80th best HDI based on their ultra restrictive visa rules.
You could do 3 months in Europe then you have a lot of possibilities for 2-3 months stay in different countries like Moldova (3 months) then all the Silk Road countries like Armenia (4-6 months depending on your passport), Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia. etc. I had plans to do the Silk Road countries with my ex gf just before Covid started but didn't do it because of the pandemic. Food looks really amazing, most people don't travel there because it's not the travel hot spots but it looks really nice from what I saw online. Just my two cents

You probably aware but if not, visa requirements for a Mexican passport by countries

i know some people who've done jeeps/motorcycles along the silk road from china to europe and they said it was the most amazing trip possible

you can't bring a vehicle out of chiina so if you include china you'll need to sell it at the border and buy a new one or just rent for the chinese portion or just take the bus for that part

Gonzo, I refer to that wiki page quite often.

We've kinda done a variation of your plan. Did 3 months in France/Spain/Greece, then when we had to move on, headed to Istanbul for 1.5 months. We were debating what to do, possibly SEA for a bit, but ultimately decided on Tbilisi, Georgia. We're kinda getting sick of jumping around so often, so just want to chill here for awhile (we both get 1 year automatically in Georgia, which is sweet).

Once we're ready to move on, we might hit the Balkans for a little while, then another stint in Europe.

AirBNB rentals are super expensive post-Covid in Spain/France and it kinda did a # on our travel budget, so that's why we've been looking at cheaper places. Tbilisi will be nice to grind for awhile, and it's super cheap. Although rents have risen about 50% due to influx of Russians driving up prices, but it's still a fraction of the prices in Western Europe. We'll likely hit up Armenia and Azerbaijan too, but only for short visits and keep our place in Tbilisi. Probably would've hopped over to Russia too, but not anymore obviously.

I bought this one in 2020. https://www.lazada.co.th//products/i...G&urlFlag=true

I have had no problems with it. There are probably newer models out now but i can recommend that store.

I don't have one, but IKEA has it for about 15K I think. You can likely find a lot of YT reviews on it.

Recently divorced friend visiting Phuket want to set him up with soapy/happy ending massage massage at upscale place.

Plan-

-Tell him we’re going special massage place.
-Go to place that I act like I just find randomly but looks open for that kind of business.
-Go there tell him **** they’re straight up here…oh well let’s get normal massage.
-He starts normal massage.
-20-30min girl starts approaching private parts subtly
-Shortly after in second girl arrives
-Both girls progress start hj/bj
-5min to 10min into that 3rd girl “the closer” arrives to finish the job

I can speak Thai well enough to explain this but haven’t gone inside these types of places and the girls hollering outside of them seem alright when you have yellow fever but in reality are pretty bust.

Where has decent girls actually? Thinking want to spend like $1k us

Any advice very appreciated. Planning for Tuesday this week after golfing with him.

I’ll probably participate as well in my own room but not have the same sort of production.

Also, I know he’s down bc he we walked in on him doing this in Vegas when we were younger and sharing a suite with us lol and we all ran off.

I think you're going to need to outsource the girls.
So find the massage place you like and then arrange to pay them their fee to use their space and rent their uniforms for your planted outsource girls.

Anyone here use web money, Skrill or Much Better while in Thailand? Are any of those decent? Is it easier to register home country or Thai address?

I use Skrill from there but don't recall if it's registered there or in my home country.

My advice though is to avoid all those wallets and try to use crypto if possible. Skrill at least for me it's been a nightmare at times getting my account blocked after each transaction for no apparent reason and having to verify again each time. They also charge a fee each time you wanna send money to someone else there.

Hopefully in a couple years time all these e-wallets will dissappear and everyone will use crypto.

Yeah, I'm stuck with Skrill for 888. With stars you probably can trade your crypto for money there, should be a somewhat easy trade to find.

Never tried any of the other wallets you mentioned but I doubt they're worse than skrill so I would pick one of those if I had no other choice.

If your 888 account is Thai you can use Kbank for deposit/withdraw

Great to know, ty. I have BKK Bank but I was planning on opening an account in another bank when I get back in a couple months. Was looking into one that would give me a debit card with my name on it since I couldn't book any hotel in the US with my BKK Bank Mastercard debit because it didn't have my name imprinted on it. Does KBank have a card like this? or does anyone know a bank that does?

No name on my card. I've never used it as a credit card. With 888 it's done through online banking, likely that BKK bank would work as well.
