Feminism is great helping women get equality in women issues. BLM is great getting movement between races. Red pill (hate to use those two words) is great helping men getting equality in men issues.

Now if you take the extreme examples of all those movements which hit the news... which hit the nonsense **** which media focus’s and promote as it creates discussion... article hits... newspaper sales... to shape your views of the movement. You’re an idiot. Media is an issue to all those movements.

Lol at asking about divorce rates. Wat. It’s not even modern feminism. It’s media hijacking extreme examples which shapes your viewpoint of third wave feminism. There’s crazy in all movements. One creates content. That isn’t feminism. Hence the word which is commonly used as “feminazi” which don’t actually support their own movement

Everyone should be a feminist (as same as other movements) at heart. If you’re not.... then lol.

It’s obviously very exaggerated in media because it suits them.
If we are talking in the West, women are not even disadvantaged anymore. So third wave feminism make no sense unless they start to fight for let say women's right in muslim countries but that's not what they are doing, too busy asking for equality but expecting special treatment, victimizing women (the gender pay gap for ex, the result of women’s choices, not sexism), etc.

For the divorce rates, of course feminism is not the main cause but it's a part of the problem as well as lack of values and loss of religious faith. Take a look at the divorce:marriage ratio here and see by yourself which countries have the highest divorce rate and which one have the lowest.

Great argument.
I didn't talk about the Philippines but more about Asian countries, especially SEA countries. Vietnam has one of the lowest divorce rate in the world, from wiki 2007 stat is 4%, nowadays it must be around 12%. If you compare with Thailand for ex, not surprised that Vietnam is lower because it's more traditional here. I guess countries like Cambodia, Myanmar, Lao maybe Indonesia too have the same divorce rate than Vietnam.

I really don't think the correlation you're attempting to draw is there. Just because these countries have lower divorce rates does not mean that these are happy marriages where both partners want to be married.

For a long time divorce in most of these countries was incredibly taboo and a huge loss of face. IDK about the other countries, but in Vietnam there's a large number of divorce among younger couples, and I imagine soon the divorce rate for Vietnam won't be so different from the western world, and not just because of the spread of feminism.

As I said the divorce rates are skyrocketing not only because of the spread of feminism but because of the lack of values and loss of religious faith. Yeah it doesn't mean that this marriages are all happy marriages but that's life, right? Sometimes up sometimes down. I agree with you, Vietnam and others countries with low divorce rates will see their stat increasing year after year. Nothing can be done to change it. But at least here we are (for now) still far from taking a flip to be divorced in the future when being married.

Maybe I read this wrong by “part of the problem” sounds insanely ****ing stupid on my part. A women wanting equality divorces more because maybe she’s not getting equality?! Why is that a bad thing? Lol

The problem is about the women's empowerment, especially about sexuality. Wanting women to act/be like men is so wrong. Physically we are not the same and psychologically we aren't the same too (women are more emotional for ex).

Women initiating 69 percent of all divorces :
Quote:
Rosenfeld's analysis relies on data from the 2009-2015 waves of the nationally representative How Couples Meet and Stay Together survey. He considers 2,262 adults, ages 19 to 94, who had opposite sex partners in 2009. By 2015, 371 of these people had broken up or gotten divorced.

As part of his analysis, Rosenfeld found that women initiated 69 percent of all divorces, compared to 31 percent for men.

This, imo, explains more accurately why women initiate divorce more often:

I still think your arguing against feminism is pretty misplaced. By posting those statistics I think you are trying to suggest that the more partners women have sex with, the more likely they are to get a divorce; feminism enables women to have more casual sex therefore encourages divorce. That is a possibility, but your statistics to do not prove it. IMO it is far more likely that the type of woman who sleeps around a lot is more likely to get a divorce, whether or not she actually did sleep around.

A woman who finds more satisfaction from having just one partner for long periods of time is more likely to get married and stay married. That should be no surprise.

If anything feminism helps the man in this case: when women have the ability to sleep around freely, it is possible for a man to tell which women do actually sleep around and which ones are more loyal. If the societal pressures prevent women from sleeping around ever, then the man has no idea if a woman would or would not have been sleeping around. Therefore the man has no idea if he is about to marry a woman who is far more likely to divorce him or make his marriage hell.

Lmao this video is gold! From Ok Cupid analysis
Quote:
The average looking female has convinced herself that the vast majority of males aren't good enough for her, but she then goes right out and messages them anyway.
. Now in her 30's (average girls get married at 35yo nowadays), her glow is gone, good looking husband material guys are not interested by her anymore, she see herself as a 8 but has to settle down with guys who are 3/10! Delusional at his finest! Well she wouldn't have this problem if she didn't choose to ride the dicks carousel during her prime time but instead married someone (handsome husband material guy) when she still had glow aka was in her prime.

Hey, anyone here know what happens if I overstay like 2-3 days? I've been here around 9 months consecutively on a tourist visa which expires May 28, but I want to fly back May 29 or 30. What should I do?

Do I have to go to the immigration office up on JP Rizal Ave for that?

And would I be able to do anything about a few days overstay then, or how would that work/what would it cost me?
