WSOP <img K. Raise all-in on the river for thin value or save the last chips ? WSOP <img K. Raise all-in on the river for thin value or save the last chips ?

WSOP $1K Event. End of level 2, blinds are 25-50, I had 2650 in chips.

A player who appeared to be relatively tight raised from middle position to 150. He had 3500. On the cutoff I cold called with TJ. The big blind who was playing very loose called as well.

The flop came :

J 4 3

475 in the pot. Big blind checked, pre flop raiser bet 300, I called and the big blind folded.

Turn was K and we both checked.

River was 4. Villain bets 800 into 1075 pot. I had 2200 left.

What would you do here ? Just call and leave 1400 in case he has a full house or a higher backdoor flush, or push and hope to get some more chips from AA, AK, KJ and the less likely A4s or a smaller flush ?

Thanks in advance for your input.

shove river, fold preflop. You are not deep enough to profitably play a suited connector preflop.

I can see where you are coming from op but this is a jam.

strawberry JAM

If this is your first WSOP and you lost shoving here, sucks.. but still always a Jam..

I played this event also.

Dunno about this. Effective starting stacks were 53 bbs & OP had position. Calling is likely fine (unless he really struggles post-flop)

yeah but with position there's heaps of extra ways to win a hand.

This is so terrible versus a tight opponent. So we try to outplay villain with air. Obviously that should add to our equity for calling pf, because it never costs us any additional chips. Additionally I guess we never have to worry about a squeeze pf.

and to skanky - byte my ass
