Blinds 200/400. V1 has about 30K in the CO, V2 has about 26K on the button. V1 is newish to the table, but is wearing a standard poker outfit, hoodie, sunglasses, funny hat. V2 and I have played at the table for about 3 hours, and he has alredy reloaded once, as he plays a lot of hands and raises pretty frequently. He is a late 20's clicky asian.

Action folds to Funny hat, who raises to 1,500. Clicky Asian calls in the button. I have 5 7 . I am down to about 13.5K.

Let it go? Squeeze? Call and try to hit?

Are you BB or SB?

I'd say call for sure out of BB getting over 3-1 with a suited one gapper that can connect on a lot of boards. It's close out of small blind but as long as we aren't too worried about a squeeze from BB I would call as well. The CO and button seem to be pretty spewy and the fact that funny hat raised more than 3x makes me think he has something better than avg holding and is willing to gii against you bad and/or make a cbet on a lot of boards. I'd be check calling most boards that I connect with or am drawing to with this stack size. Sometimes I would check raise all in on rare 2pr/set wet boards though for protection since I'm against 2 players OOP.

Sorry, I was I. SB. Did not have any information on BB, as he was also newish to the table and had folded his hands from middle and early position

Fold pre

Fold pre from sb and prob from Bb as well to this opening size. Is 1500 a normal open size for this table? Seems rather large and in a 350 buyin I would generally surmise that this is a fairly strong range unless the dude is a spazz and opening to this size on the reg.

Yeah, if the raise size were smaller you can justify sticking around, but I feel his sizing prices us out. Just fold and wait for a better spot.

I would fold. You have enough blinds to take a flyer on a hand. Do it OTB or CO. You can steal or call a raise OTB with a lot of hands.

don't call from anywhere, this is an easy fold

if you're in BB and the raise is smaller then it's definitely a call

Does the BB being unlikely to squeeze and likely to call behind being factored in? And, the implied odds going up if we think he has a stronger holding that is more likely to cbet and possibly pay us off big time if we hit 2pr+? I think folding is fine here but it seems like against the described opponents there are arguments to call as well

We're still oop multi way with a very marginal holding and the stack to pot size ratio will only be around 2 which makes it very difficult to see more streets without committing the whole stack
