I think this is a shove unless either player is absurdly nitty (or in the SB's case, trappy; if JJ is the bottom of his flatting range here you should prob not shove). While it would be nice for the other two players to play a massive pot and let you get the payjump, I don't think that'll happen often enough (especially because they're prob going to try, at least a little bit, to avoid each other) to pass up on shoving a monster like AQo.

I believe that you made the right decision to shove. The preflop raise of 3bb feels as if he wants to win the hand immediately. With a range of say 77+ plus broadway, you are ahead of the raiser's range plus you of course have folding equity, especially being on the bubble.

I wouldn't suspect Tmont to be trapping with anything less than AA, possibly KK, but even KK is taking a risk being out of position with 3 cards to come. Getting fancy here could cost him. And you can't be folding AQ on the off chance that he has AA. If you are going to play that scared then you may as well not play. So I'd put you ahead of his range too.

As it happens, Tmont has called with JJ. I don't like this play, despite the result. He has more than a 50/50 chance of an overcard on the flop and at the same time missing his potential set. He is then playing out of position against the chipleader on the bubble, and may also be up against you if you decide to call. Not a nice position to be in. I'd have shoved in his position.

So I believe that you made the right decision. You just weren't rewarded for it this time.
