2nd hand calalmity played a hand earlier, UTG limp, MP raises, he flats with QQ. flop is 699, utg leads, mp raises, and he flats with QQ, turn is blank and it goes check down, MP had JJ.

1st hand jonrubs is a 2+2er, anyone do anything differently? he has 1.8 behind on flop, 1.3k in middle, i dunno what hes flatting there if hes a good player. bet/call flop? i dunno.

thanks for any advice.

Hand 1:
I prefer flatting pre
As played, I think I play it the same , he pretty much has KK+ most of the time if he's competent

Hand 2:
Bet turn, as played I think I fold river, If I didn't have the A of spades I'd probably call and expect him to show up with AQ/busted spades enough

hand 1 if i 3bet i play it the same,

2 you should definetly b/f the turn, as played fold i guess

If he's competent he shouldn't have KK+ either, as evidenced by the fact that everyone ITT is putting him on KK+ including the OP. Not to mention it's super pointless to "trap" Chesskid here when Chesskid is calling a jam so often anyway. Villain could be competent and have a marginal hand like KQ trying to level the OP into putting him on KK+, but meh, I'll start giving people credit for being capable of that when I start seeing it.

All this trapping with big pairs has gone way too far if people are doing it in this spot.

hand 1: AQ period.

Maybe Im not too bright, but hand 1 I probably raise a bit more from the bb since Im oop and prob jam flop if called. Unless hes doing some overly fancy AA play here hes just trying to find a "safe flop". if thats the case this isnt the flop hes lookin for. Win it now.

Hand 2 I bet fold turn and check eval river if he flats again. c/c puts you in too many awkward spots against hands he may think are for value.
