Turning showdown value into a bluff Tilt 30r Turning showdown value into a bluff Tilt 30r

Villain is an unknown. We joined tables at 18 not long ago, he hasn't been too active and I have not been overly active either.

I think on river he's just trying to weak block/value me with one pair a ton of the time and it's not that crazy that I'd have spades or slow played something good. I think my 9 has super little value in calling. Thoughts?

Ehh, only against a total unknown. Even idiots have to realize your line looks full of it and/or his river betsize induces a shove some significant % of the time, though I suppose this is <50% of the time.

You sick. I will read thread later.

I would play it the same every time, to a bad player it might looked like a flopped monster or something. Even if he dosen't he prob puts u on the backdoor flush. Calling is obv horrible since he will show u A10 alot. He wants to get value from KK and not valuetown himself vs worse. WP

Maybe if you were deeper but hes getting like 3-1 on a call and he almost always has an ace and Im pretty sure a lot of randoms play 2 pair hands and sets the same way. Also I think your just repping spades really.

I likey

TBH your line looks probably like a flush to a rando so I like it.

i dont think you can rep a lot. what is the flopped monster you check behind there? if the flop was rainbow i would like it a lot more. your range on the river is extremely narrow and consists basically of the flush and 777 whereas villain even have difficulties to put you on 777 given the board development otr. so for him it looks like a) the backdoor flush or b) air (e.g., missed clubs). i guess lots of players look you up pretty light here and the move is tough without reads on villain. if he is somebody who just see a big bet coming and is folding anything far from the nuts just because of the big bet it might work though.

You need just over 50% fold rate. You'll get picked off by an ace or an occasional flush/set sometimes. I don't really think this is slam dunk like others in this thread, but it's fine. He's going to be blocking w/ QQ type hand or bet/folding an ace probably often enough.

First thought was that villain is calling here too often.
I never get better hands to fold because I am norwegian, but maybe u.

I sorta like it now, and I like it a lot more if it's not only half of villains stack to call.

i'm more interested in the flop/turn decisions then river

not to get raised off the best hand by a draw/air

There's only one draw and I doubt he's going to check/raise air on this flop.
