jamming flop is bad

Jamming flop seems clearly bad. I'm not sure why people want to check back the flop either, I think people only do that on a board like this with a hand that has showdown value and I don't think BB is going to fall for putting many chips in the pot on future streets without a hand that has some equity. I think it's one of those spots where after getting CR'd it's kind of like "wish I had checked."

As per the CR itself, blegh. Fold against many I think.

If what your saying is the only time to get worse to put money in the pot is on the flop then i disagree. There is value in checking and letting missed draws or complete air donk into you on the turn and river or getting to showdown against complete air or in some cases a better hand.

doubt villain ever has qq+ much, why would he not build the pot with the huge pairs pre ante leaves 88-jj, however i think that the reason that everyone is saying fold is because it will be so hard to play once u flat, hes barrelling a lot of turns and every card is a scare card barring ace and 7 which vs the hands u wish to get money from, they will be a scare card, its just an ugly spot which u can avoid and u only put in 225 so there isnt a need to put he rest of ur stack in vs a "get it in" range which crushes you.

ur either gonna get bluffed a lot if u flat, or fold out everything u beat if u shove..... doesnt seem like fun to me

So what your saying is be cautious and check flop back? Why would QQ-AA not just call a button raise and look to get bets in on a 7 high flop?

bc most people just dont flat QQ+ pre in this spot.

and 88-JJ has to strongly consider folding if you jam the flop...bc apparently from the responses here they could never put you on a 7.

people check/raise this board with stuff you smash sometimes...but flatting the c/r on flop makes hand too hard to play .
shoving folds his air, some worse hands, maybe some better hands (88-TT lets say)

if they dont fold better you have 5outs twice. just bink it.

what are you in the folding camp doing with 88-JJ in heros shoes?
see they are roughly the same relative hand strengh as A7 barring some combinatorics, but when you jam them and get called you have less equity than with A7 most times (villain has more sets in range when you hold overpair too)

You folding 88-JJ here?

hmm not too sure what he has here, but fold now
