so i pretty much stopped playing poker seriously, but I won a 8R sat into this 2k 6max
. I doubt I would`ve played the satellite if I would`ve realized the tournament is already running and I cannot take t$ but whatever.
Table is very tough and i doubled up dr action in this hand ~70 hands ago:
Preflop: (360) Hero is CO with A 7
2 folds, Hero raises to 1,000, Dr.Action raises to 2,500, 2 folds, Hero raises to 99,613 and is all-in, Dr.Action calls 24,423 and is all-in
Flop: (54,956) T Q Q (2 players, 2 are all-in) Turn: (54,956) K (2 players, 2 are all-in) River: (54,956) 4 (2 players, 2 are all-in)
Spoiler:
Results: 54,956 pot
Final Board: T Q Q K 4
Hero showed A 7 and lost (-26,983 net)
Dr.Action showed A A and won 54,956 (27,973 net)
since then ive been playing super LAG pre (38-40VPIP) but only 3 bettin around 8%.
postflop ive been kinda cautious.
didnt play any more big pots
villain is this hand has been playing extremely laggy and was involved in many big pots .
he got it on pre >100BB Co vs Bu w 99 and lost vs Jp`s kings.
I`m not sure if he knows my 3 betting range is super polarized and my flats are pretty much broadway hands and pairs.
so this hand comes up and i was just lost on the turn.
its pretty obv my only 2X hand is 22 here and i never have 76s here cause i fold it pre or on the flop. i might raise flop w 76ss.
not sure why his sizing is so big either
i also thought about the fact if he saw my opr stats hell think im scared money.
thoughts?
edit: were both very deep obv, not sure wahat the average was but i guess ~40k at that point.
edit2: thought about raising flop but decided against it, cause im not happy about gettin it in here. thoughts?
i like a flat pre (althought 3 betting is fine). Its definately a wtf spot because he would either need to have 22, a2, or 67 to be raising for value and everything else is a bluff. I would call and reevaluate on the river because i definately think its possible that he just saw an oppurtunity to bluff without thinking about what his perceived range is. If he bets strong on the river or makes a value bet of somekind id fold at that point. I think that he will think that you think that he definately doesnt have it ott, so it seems kinda unlikely that he fires again knowing that hes repping so thin and you have showed that you dont believe him by calling the turn.
jamming 54bb in Co vs btn 54bb deep where he's 3betting to 5bb...u could easily just 4b/f or do other stuff than jamming
with the AQo Im thinking about checking back the turn, but that might be result oriented thinking...
like flatting it pre though, using position and giving Dr.action a chance to squeeze shove
as played either call turn call river or fold turn, since I expect him to barrel river like always
