No idea why its come out like this, only 9 hands in from when this guy arrived on table, this guy INSTA shoves turn and i have no clue what to do

Strongly disagree with both of these. I think the hand is well played up until now and would fold vs most people.

Its not a 3bet pot and his overshove screams low flush. I like calling and maybe raise bricked river for value. You never want to protect-raise a hand that already might be dead.

You won't give the villian credit for slow playing a flush? I had a similar hand happen to me and called a big bet with my straight with 3 suited cards on the board. I don't think I'll do it again.

This villian is either got you bet with a flush, tied with a straight, or is beaten and is bluffing. I can't see a call here. Biggest mistake was raise on river.
