at this stage there are about 420 left out of 6600. we are in the money just made it to another level. the average stack is about 140k.

the original raiser had been making small raises pre-flop fairly frequently. but had not seemed overly aggressive after the flop. my first instinct was to reraise pre-flop. but i did not want to have to fold if he pushed and did not want to flip against the big stack if i called and was against AK or something. since he wasn't too aggressive postflop i felt like checking out a flop and seeing what developed. the bb was neither over aggressive or passive, but wasnt afraid to play a pot.
comments on any part of the hand are appreciated.

nh, i don't see anything wrong with the way you played this

shoving preflop turns your hand into a bluff, and folding is bad imo as you said the original raiser had been active, the bb could easily be betting worse then 10 10, so with your stack size you have to just get it in

having UTG+1 fold is tremendous, u have the nuts now

the fact that the bb had been kinda active makes me a lot more willin to ship all in, and thats what id do

Hand is fine but you need to stop thinking like this.

thanks for the input, i do not have a great amount of tournament experience so i'll take all the help i can get.

llyod, i guess i should have re-phrased that statement...i felt that if i reraised preflop to 50k-60k and if folds back to the original raiser and he pushed that i would be a coin flip at best. with that said do you think reraising preflop would be better?
